I think I know the problem.

Post » Thu Jan 27, 2011 6:14 pm

Took a break from playing for a few hours and I think I know why some people are frustrated. From the matches I had played so far it seems that everyone is playing the game like Call of Duty. Everyone sprints as fast as possible to the objective, shoots like Rambo on cocaine, dies and tries again. I haven't seen one team yet work as a TEAM yet. Almost everyone starts as one class and then everyone changes when they figure out there aren't any medics or whatever is needed.

It's going to take some time and to be honest certain players quitting for the general population to get a feel for the game. I mean it's been less than 24 hours. There are tons of places to run and hide that haven't been discovered yet. I trust the developers to fix certain "issues" but I think it's going to take us, the players, in changing how we play so we can really enjoy the game down the road.

Personally I really like the game so far and am learning how to do some school running and shooting tricks.

One of the few people I've seen here today that explains exactly where the (main) problem lies. (Not talking about possible technical issues here)

Hahaha your funny you should become a comedian!

No Halo 2 made xbox live!
Sorry I would never compare Brink to Cod/ halo or any of those games as a Fps.
Halo takes more skill and Teamwork than any game out there.

Brink is not even a game thats how bad it is!

Spikes video game awards sorry I don't watch them but nice try :)

I'm pretty sure the problem has absolutely nothing to do with CoD and everything to do with Splash Damage screwing up some very simple things. No Lobby....why? I can't join a game with friends...WHY?!?! I like the game I really do but it's almost as if splash damage tried being too different.

Oh and the LAG!!!!! If anyone else tells me that all p2p games are like this I'm going to snap. No other games I've ever played the last 3 years have had this many lag issues.

You fan boys need to just admit this is not some amazing game. It's decent, but not great.

I agree fully it is definitely a team based game you have to use skill not a running gunning rambo style like the call of duty type of player

I love how you all think "team games" take skill and CoD is just a bunch of 10 year olds running around smashing their controllers against their face.
