So i wake up 20 minutes ago.

About to go on Skyrim.

And i look out my window and see a Dragon.

But really, it was a bird. Out of my peripherals it looked like one, but man.

I laughed hysterically for about 5 minutes straight.

Anyone else experiencing real life deterrence ? Lol. :poke:

I've noticed i tend to look up more and, as some others have posted else where on these boards, the fleeting urge to pick flowers when i pass them.

Nah, if you're sane enough games don't affect your real life in any way, out of what you think about and your opinion on said topic.

When I was a kid and I used to literally lose all sense of self for hours and hours.

Once when I was up all night playing Doom 2 back in 1994, I got up to go to the bathroom, I'd been playing with the walk through walls cheat.
As I got to the hallway I literally began to walk as the crow flies towards my bathroom as if I could walk through walls, for a split second I was literally that mentally immersed,... I chuckled about it.

I used to get the Tetris Effect really badly when I slept too, my half asleep state constantly processing information and organizing it in the manner of whatever game I was obsessed with. I miss being that absorbed by things.

This happens to me a lot, haha. With any game, really.

And no it doesn't mean we're crazy it's actually got a name and quite normal. It's the same process by which you learn to write, and gain other muscle movements. We're just ingraining an ability and the correlation between a certain key in the game. However, if you actually do start hallucinating dragons or something, that might be a problem.
