I do think its a bad idea for two reasons. One is general and may not apply to you but I've seen it many times so don't take offense.
1. There is always launch day problems and they are more frustrating when you've taken a day off.
2. Taking time off can lead to the speed leveling race to 50 that CAN lead to boredom and lack of endgame complaints. Or you're the only one in pvp and you say pvp is dead.

Just my thoughts on things.
