Now, the point in saying this is that I had no prior plans on getting SR3 just after Skyrim like that. Yet suddenly I felt like I needed a break from the game. For some further context, I was a WoW raider, so long gaming sessions are in my blood. Anyway; I really didn't want to keep playing Skyrim, and I think it all came down to one simple fact for me.
LOOT!
I am OCD about loot. I will micromanage my loot to make sure I get all the most valuable things for my return trip, like some kind of Monk/Indiana Jones hybrid. Then when I get back into town-- or should I say 'towns', I have to fast travel and sell to different people over the course of 15 or more minutes later in the game. Having finished the main quest, it feels like I'm selling 2-3 items to each shop before moving on.
Why didn't we just keep the oblivion system for the sake of people's sanity? Do you feel the same? What is your opinion on the matter? Perhaps someone can defend this new system and make me feel a bit better about it.
