i'd actually been pondering a skyrim mod where just that happens (as well as stuff getting stolen from player homes etc). with the option to hunt down the thieves though.
...so, i'm taking it, you'd NOT like a mod like this?
This. Dear god a thousand times this!
I can understand devs and publishers wanting to make some extra cash off of a game, but when it gets to the level of games like Borderlands, Evolve, or any of EAs on disc DLC then the gamer community should get together and have a nice little riot.
If instead of having hundreds of perks, the game had hundreds of skills.
lol the Drakenred school of diplomacy, making friends and influencing people!
Power requirements system like in Dragon Age: Inquisition which forces you to collect rings for 12 different people, find 8 lost goats, pitch 20 tents, gather 52 ingredients and so on before you can progress to the next part of the main story. >_<
A card game, with complicated rules, as the basic combat system for the game!
With an energy/stamina bar, so you can only do 5 combats before you have to wait for energy to recharge.

Maybe it's because I'm the "oooh, sidequests!" and "explore whole map!" type, but I had buckets of extra power throughout that game. (Perhaps it would be worse if I replayed it, and didn't do all the sidequests again....)
make it episodic ,release console specific content, and add multiplayer (and make it mandatory to have the best ending looking at you ME3)
Yeah wouldn't want to see multiplayer for Fallout, definitely wouldn't want it to have any bearing on single player.. but I have to admit.. the multiplayer in ME3 was pretty fun.
oh it was ,but it svcked that you Had to do it .
*nod's in agreement*
I remember how much it irked me when I first read about how it would affect the galactic readiness in the single player portion of the game (and that it would decay over time).
I only like sidequests when they're fun (I don't consider pitching tents, closing rifts, or finding lost junk fun) and I don't like exploring when there's nothing interesting or fun to find so DA:I was a total slog for me (it's definitely way worse on a second playthrough). You can tell they made the power requirements in order to pad out the playtime of an unusually short main story. It especially svcked since actual fun side quests with lots of dialogue, choices, roleplay opportunity, interesting lore or story and varying outcomes were replaced with boring tasks.
Well I hope they get rid of the "firing bullets from your crotch" feature so that I can actually snipe targets at steep down angles from me.
An arena where the announcer tells you to go and rest because "You've.....earned it."
Any character that forces conversation upon you. Based on the E3 presentation, I don't think I have to worry about that much.
Artificially limited Power Armor use.
No DLC that expands the Perk tree (a'la Dawnguard). Or if there is one, make sure that it doesn't break existing characters.
Gathering quests. I know this is already in there because I saw the little Pip Boy figurines. I can live with that, but things like the Dragon Age: Inquisition Shards quests, Landmarks quests, etc. drive me to the verge of committing murder. I also don't need a reason to explore. I do that anyway.
Firing bullets from your crotch.......... where is that Dusk till Dawn pick of the crotch pistol when I need it.
hey ya
