Bethesda releases quality games that push the limits of the consoles they ship on. If they kept their games in beta until all the bugs were fixed it would be years until the game was released. But if the game gets released then the customers can find and point out these bugs and Bethesda can fix them more efficiently.

Holy crap! Wow that is unreal that they shipped it like that on the gold master disk, how the [censored] did Sony or any QA actually allow that to be sold on new hardware!!! So they patched it to be playable basically... Somehow I doubt we will be seeing further improvements, I'm done, copy is being returned Bethesda is unreal and I won't be supporting a company that has this much disregard for their products and customers....

Hard to tell if you're being sarcastic or not. These aren't a few bugs, the game was quite literally shipped unfinished on disc with Bethesda relying on buyers finishing it by downloading a huge day 1 patch. What if you don't have access, or the right type of internet to do this? You will then have spent 50 quid on something that is worthless because I doubt they would exchange it for a finished version, hell they don't even acknowledge it. Who wants to play games that are averaging 20fps? This isn't the ps1.
Everything that is wrong with the industry summed up in 1 game. Mikami really needs to find another publisher.

How do I know if mine is patched? I got it on day 2 of release. My son installed the disc (on ps4) but he didn't say anything about an update.
More and more games are being released "unfinished". EA's Sims series is notorious for it (although I doubt anyone on here plays that apart from me lol). Sims 4 is out now, even though Sims 3 gets patch after patch (years on) and it still has huge issues. Skyrim is still buggy as heck and still has quest line breaking issues, which will probably never be fixed.

I did not read the article for its 1am here and I'm partially intoxicated. Any attempt at reading a wall of text like that and I would most likely pass out or interpret it as some sort of article on how dolphins are the next master race.

But ya from what I read here it looks a little upsetting but like I said I've yet to read the article.

Yeah right. That must mean my ps3 is weaker than a gamecube because I have seen better graphics on gamecube than Evil Within on ps3. It really blows my mind that middle-class gamers becoming white knights in shining armor to defend billion dollars corporations like Bethesda. Do you own stock in the company? Are you employed by Bethesda? Am I your bete noir du jour? Are you just coming after me to blow yourself up and feel good about yourself sir puff fish?

Highlight the game, press option on controller, go to version history and if its patched it should say 1.01 or 1.1.

Did you read both of my posts? I'm in no way shape or form attacking you so don't attack me. I don't work for Bethesda and I was just giving my opinion on the matter, which I stated in another post was wrong and uneducated and that I needed to actually read the article. So I suggest that you calm down and come at this rationally, if you treat others the way you treat me you may not become liked on these forums and your points although valid may be ignored.
