Thinking About Doing the Unthinkable

Kyne is not a Daedra. Kyne is a Divine.

Azura and Meridia are Daedra, but have good intentions. Malacath, Sherogorath, Hircine and Sanguine are also Daedra and have neutral intentions. The rest are evil (Nocturnal less so as the Daedra of theievry, but obviously a "good" character won't be doing the TG questline).

Thanks for the clarification - I didn't see Kyne listed on the Daedra wiki page.

Meridia's arrogance doesn't make the quest evil, in my mind. I just chaulk it up to that fact that she's a super being. Azura's quest does seem kind of evil - nabbing souls and gradually draining them to nothing doesn't seem good or neutral no matter what you accomplish. I did the quest once but haven't played an enchanter since.

Fur, with forsworn gauntlets and boots. Ancient Nord, sans helmet, isn't too over done for a fitting ranger armor..

Edit: My humble opinion, of course. And applies to female character. I just looked and see the male version of ancient nord has a lot of iron in it.

Agreed about Meridia. Yes she's a snob, but her intentions are good.

Azura can be seen somewhat evil in regards to soul trapping, however doing her quest stops someone from using her artifact to feed off NPC souls to be immortal. You have the option to return her artifact to Azura so it can no longer be used to trap NPC souls and only trap creature/animal souls versuses only trapping NPC souls. Obviously returning the star to Azura would be the better moral decision.

Scaled armor is the best as far as rangers, (especially if you want to stay away from magic). It is above Elven armor and below Elven Gilded armor.

I don't need to think to be a good Kitty, Drinking milk with pride!

You may end up as the opposite of me, I tried an Evil character, joined the Dark Brotherhood, and couldn't take it.

Spoiler
That's how I discovered that I could destroy the Dark Brotherhood... and I did, and it pleased me.

Edit:

Hell no they aren't! Meridia's still an evil hoe. Hates the undead or not, she still advised her champion Umaril the Unfeathered, who slaughtered a church, and was the main enemy to the Knights of the Nine.

The Daedra cannot be classified into such mortal things as good and evil. True, some seem to like messing with Nirn more than others but even then they are beyond mortal understanding.

No magic of any kind - I've wrestled with this. I decided that the innate Healing spell should be allowed for any build. It feels appropriate for a magical/fantastic game setting. However, I won't put any perk points into the Restoration tree and no increases to the base 100 magicka reserve. Essentially, this makes potions the main recourse against wounds but that's not a problem.

What are you thinking - use the healing spell or no?
