Thinking about getting New Vegas for pc

Post » Tue Aug 02, 2011 1:36 pm

Ok so all I know about my pc Is that it can run bad company 2 lol.

So, do you think it can run new Vegas?

Also, how should I buy it? Disc or steam? I wanna be able to mod since I already have it for ps3.

And finally, Is downloading mods easy?

I'm not a pc genius so that's why I'm asking these questions.

If it can run Bad Company 2, it can probably run New Vegas, though I don't know the specific requirements for either.

You can buy it off of a disc or Steam, it doesn't matter - the only difference is that with a disc, you don't need to wait for Steam to download the base game and can instead go straight to DLing patches, while if you buy it off of Steam you 'just' need to DL the several-gigabyte base game. There's literally no other difference - even the disc version runs off of Steam.

Downloading mods is easy enough, installing them is trivial, but making them all work right together if you get a bunch of them can be a bit more involved.

i would say your ok. bad company 2 had better graphics than NV, on the other hand NVs engine svcks so it might be a draw. it would be easier if you posted your specs

Downloading mods is quite easy use the New Vegas Nexus site. Installing them is not hard either, it is just simple logic, also most modifications come with some form of instructions on how to install written by the mod maker.
