Thinking of trying to find a copy or Morrowwind

Post » Tue Oct 02, 2012 5:20 am

As the title says, I am thinking of trying to find a copy of the game for XBox. I know a few places where I could order it. I wanted to ask though, since I've found few gameplay videos, how are the graphics and animations compared to, say, Oblivion? It isn't an enormous pixel deal like the really early ones is it?

Thanks!

It's several years older than Oblivion, so obviously it's going to look more dated. Animations in particular are one of the weaker points of the game, and you have a very limited view distance compared to Oblivion.

If you have a PC I recommend getting the PC version. Morrowind is over 10 years old now so even a fairly weak PC should be able to run it. You'll probably get faster loading times that way. I think the view distance is also slightly shorter on the Xbox.

If you do have a great computer however, you can make it look like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d69wYi3_LWo.

I would love to have a gaming PC, but I've never been willing to put the time and money into building one. I'll probably get one, just so I can have the latter three games all together.

Thanks!

Keep in mind you don't need a powerful gaming PC to enjoy Morrowind on PC.
Basically any type of PC or laptop can play MW very well, even with lots of mods.

PC is also recommended because you can install some very important patches that fix thousands of bugs/glitches. (Xbox can't use those patches)
