Sounds great :) Be sure to read the rules, observe the story starter, and write up something before February. We're very happy to have you, and don't be afraid to ask questions if you have any. It's better to ask now than be denied from participating later because of a simple mistake. Thanks again, I look forward to your story :goodjob:

I'm thinking of dipping my hand into this one as a writer. I might not make it (still working on those real life projects that are svcking up all my time), but just a fair warning in case I do. :twirl:

Most excellent, I was starting to fear the worst for this contest. I understand if you can't find the time, but thanks for dropping by regardless. And as I said before, if anyone thinks the deadline is too soon, we can be a bit lenient this far away. But once we get to two weeks or closer, I simply can't do it anymore. We've tried that in the past with... questionable results. I won't say more, but we ended up arguing and one story had to be pushed to the next contest.

Thanks everyone, Feyfolken is still underway, writers should take the time they have before the holidays are completely over ;)

I'll try my hand as a writer. So does this have to be in first person?

Not at all, the story starter only requires that it follow a single character through a single day starting with his/her ordinary life. They can't be in trouble to begin with, unless trouble is a part of their life ;) It's really a very loose story starter, to ease us into the transition. I had thought we would do something crazy, like you must include a purple Argonian somewhere in your story.

But we are very glad to have you, stories are due by February, I believe the rules are close at hand if you need to know more. And if you still have questions, feel free to ask. And if you would like sign up for our forum; it's kind of inactive right now, but I'm hoping that changes eventually.

Thanks :goodjob:

Just a quick reminder, there's only three weeks until the contest is set to end ;)

If anyone thinks they can't make it, this is your last chance to say so.

Thanks everyone, and keep up the good work :goodjob:

PS I might start sending out messages to those of you who have participated in the past again. I hate to be a bother, but I would really like to see this keep going, I simply love seeing everyone write and get good criticism. Thanks again.

I take it that its not to late to apply for the contest? Two weeks is fine time to write a short story. Anyways, if its not to late I'm definitely on board.

It's not so formal that you need to apply, just send in the story before the deadline. Good to have more writers!

Also correct, thank you for addressing the issue, Shades.

PS We already have two stories entered ;)

Halfway through January, the time has passed for any deadline extensions. So if you want to submit a story, you've got another two weeks or so to do so. Remember, it only has to be a thousand words, though it can go as high as three thousand, and it must follow a single unexemplary character through a day in their lives. This doesn't mean you can't have an exciting plot, but it has to be directly caused by their situation. Thank you, and good luck :goodjob:

Hooray, the total story count has risen up to five :celebration:

Big thanks to all our authors for participating, and remember, it's still not too late to join! You have a little over one week, until midnight January 31st to send one in, plenty of time to get a thousand or two words down. Remember to follow the story starter, and good luck :goodjob:

Thanks again to all our authors and judges, and everyone participating in the contest. I'm very glad this worked out once more, hopefully in March we can get ready for Feyfolken Four :foodndrink:

Remember, the judges voting will begin February first, and shortly after I'll bring the stories here for you all to cast your votes. Cheers!

A little under twelve hours now ;)

Anyone that hasn't finished their story has one shot left before the deadline. Please add the final touches to your stories, the voting is about to begin.

Judges, please be ready, I'll be posting the stories tomorrow night. Thank you.

Keep up the good work everyone :goodjob:

Quite, I had the :embarrass: smiley ready before I even opened the thread. Yesterday I was dead for the twenty minutes I was home between track and boy scouts, and when I got home I had algebra homework. My mistake, I'll get those up after I take care of some chores. Thanks :D

EDIT: Done :D I really don't like my own story, but when the deadline comes the deadline comes. Good luck my writers, and my judges. I'll see you all for the public voting, and perhaps in a month or so for Feyfolken IV: Revenge of the Scrolls :P

Thanks everyone, I'm very pleased with the results of the contest, and I hope you all are too :goodjob:
