Hello,
I'll keep this short, I always enjoyed playing Third-Person shooters, games like Resident Evil 4/5/6, APB:Reloaded and even GTA IV & V were great and fun.
Fallout 4 is amazing so far, the atmosphere is unique.
But there's a real downside by playing in Third-Person : while you can use decently a cover/wall from the left side, it's a nightmare once ennemies are coming from the left : you can't see them unless you go in first-person and you get way off the cover spot to actually see them in third-person view.
I tried to search for a keybind to switch the camera but nope. Forced to go in first-person in that case.
Could Bethesda include this feature, I know they want to make both views as good as the other but without this, 3rd person is a nightmare, especially in interiors.
A quick video to explain if I wasn't clear enough : search in Youtube " Gta5 switching over the shoulder "
