Does anyone know how to fix this? I thought it was one of my mods at first, but I discovered that it looks like this even in vanilla. It just looks completely terrible. I think it's supposed to be snowy wood.

Yeah, I've tried this out, it looked a little better but it's just so bright on this wood that it still looks pretty bad.

Then you might also want to try that in combination with http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49011 too. That has an option for a darker snow texture.

With the mod, the shader uses your snow texture, so maybe you should get a snow texture replacer. Other than that, there's nothing you can do.

That did the trick, thanks. The darker snow texture was just what I needed.
