This is BULLSH*T!

Post » Sun Aug 07, 2011 8:11 pm

This is the SECOND time my nanosuit has rebooted automatically, and now I'm level 12. The SECOND time it does it without me selecting it, and the first time when I actually WANTED it, it wiped ALL my stats clean!

We have a match coming up and I don't have time to freaking level everything up all the time! I want my stuff back and I don't want a freaking crapposuit reboot, this is REALLY trying my F*CKING patience.

FIX IT NOW! You can't have your most active fans hating you like so many of us already do, FIX YOUR GOD DAMN GAME, NOTHING IS WORKING!

NOTHING! You think you're finished, NO! Crysis 3 will NEVER happen if you don't finish this one first!

YES! I MAD, BRO.

Ouch.

You are still a lvl 50 by your on-line stats. If you recently switched to a different Singleplayer profile, switch back. Your gear will be returned as if by magic. If you have a recent backup of your ..\Saved Games\Crysis2\Profiles folder, restore it.

If, going forward, you make a backup of that folder when you have your guy the just the way you want him, you can always return to (functionally) that state. With this technique you can even select reboot from the menu and undo it if you dont like it.

I'm working on a generic maxed out level 50 profile that anyone can use to restore with. The problem is that the assessment/unlock MP data is intermingled with the SP data, and it gets wonky fast. Besides, this fix is just for a bug I know about. There's probably plenty of others that may have bit you. Good luck!

Nope, my profile is GONE.

It doesn't exist anywhere on my computer.

That's terrible, it must be the worst fault the game has, hey Crytek, how are we supposed to look forwards to gaining level 50 when this happens everyday to someone?
It's time for the new patch, the hackers have got a new toy and your game is falling apart.

Business, it probably reboots till I'm fully leveled.. I would do a stat-hck but that doesn't bring my modules back.

It doesn't exist anywhere on my computer. You've got nothing to lose?

Find a maxed level 50's ..\Saved Games\Crysis2\Profiles\DEFAULT folder (three files). and copy it to your machine. Without logging in to MP, select the DEFAULT profile in singleplayer, then login. You will have all the modules/weapons of that player's DEFAULT setup..

EDIT: This wont bestow all the goodies on a low-level character. You have to have proper online stat counts in certain places, and it is re-evaluated after login. Also, I'm assuming your friend used the DEFAULT SP profile to develop his character.
