This DLC is what crysis 3 should've started out with

The level size, in this dlc, is exactly what I was looking for and what should've been included in crysis 3 launch. Not only the levels or the weapons but the game types. The gametypes are actually fun! I've played the levels and it was a throwback to Lingshan of pure nostalgia. The other formula is now the MOD SDK that I'm looking forward to. The "fun" is one of the missing formulas that Crysis 3 needed but not in a form where you have to pay it. Now unfortunately, this dlc also split the community again between the people who do and don't have this dlc. Not many people will get to experience this "fun" that I enjoy so much. I was fortunate enough to get the dlc without paying and supporting to EA's evil plans. As much as I enjoy playing with my clan mates, I predict that within 1-2 month, this dlc will die out :(

Also seeing how colorful these maps are, its not recommended to play them after a bf3 session. It may cause a seizure :)

In the developer's point of view, I can see how that couldn't work since it would've probably cause latency issues or other server-related issues. But in my point of view, having 32 players would've been a dream come true in this dlc pack since the map size matches with that number. Oh....I never go one day without wishing..

i watched some footage of the new maps and as expected they look amazing.
alot of work went into them, it looks like a different game. could there be a single player DLC based on the island coming next?
crysis 4 should go back to a similar setting.

I love the maps and the new modes, but man does sitting and waiting for others to join is a serious pain in my ass.

I can understand. But even if they imprement big map & a bit different game mode, it won't reach original. :(

They cut many points during development of Crysis2. Only 16 players max(Crysis/Wars was 32), No huge map, no power struggle, no lean, no prone, bad responce of action, limited control(we can't move freely with WASD), bad suit menu, no suit shortcut?, no real speed mode, no real strength mode(seem to be able to integrate this with all modes though) ,no vehicle(Crysis/Wars had car, trash, hovercraft, boat, tank, APC, AA, Heli, Vtol...), trick movements, etc...
