This is embarrassing....

I haven't played Fallout on PC in a little while, and it seems that I am stuck. I downloaded a few mods, added them to my thingy thing from computer>>program files x86>>>steam>>steamapps>>>common>>>>new vegas and dropped them in there. I also downloaded NVSE and got the new vegas mod manager, but none of the mods that I dropped into my new vegas folder seem to be appearing. How do I make them appear again? I';m a little rusty at this.

program files x86>>>

That's one possible problem if you have UAC active, Vista and 7 are quite protective of the Program Files folder.

That seemed to be a major problem right there! I just simply dumped everything once I reached New Vegas. I didn't realize I got off at the wrong stop.

Would also help if you actually read any of the readmes that come with the mods...

Strange advice coming from a finnish man, you should know we're smart enough to not need any stinking instructions :hehe:

Seriously speaking, pretty much all mods are installed in the same way. Only reason to read the readme's is if there are multiple plugins or ini files. And FOMOD and BAIN installers make it even easier ^_^
