What the heck Crytek? Nice optimization... Hopefully they fix this stuff in the next patch.

This story is already known dude. Nvidia is forcing Crytek the pack to DX11 to boost their sales GPU DX11, Nvidia involved in the development of the pack DX11, intentionally forced the tessellation to undermine the GPU AMD...

Welcome to the futur, welcome to the business...

Well, the simple fact is that NVIDIA cards are better at tessellation, so AMD cards will suffer regardless.

Well, "it's built for nvidia" like most EA games over the years. I run NV and have been for a long time, lucky I did. No issues.

The whole point on why I just splashed out on a 580, as there's nothing amd could offer right now that'll do the job. The 6000 series was boasted to be better at tessellation but in reality it's only about 10-20% better offering than the 5000 series. The 5000 even performing better in some cases.

I'm surprised how well nvidia cards handle tessellation though, you can look at tessellated bricks without hardly any impact from the framerate, with an AMD card even at low resolutions you could be doing 60 frames one minute than than low 20's the next as soon as you hit a tessellated area.
