Public service announcement...posts in this forum are being scraqed by another website and rehosted as "original" content, with fake generated usernames and dates. Example:

Fake http://www.gamesas.com/creating-new-data-structure-papyrus-logs-none-object-t408947.html

Real http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1603060-creating-a-new-data-structure-papyrus-logs-none-object/

Notice how the dates on the fake one are from 4 years before Skyrim was even released. I thought I was in the twilight zone for a few minutes after finding my verbatim code & question posted by someone else before me...

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this. I didn't see a Meta category anywhere, so I thought I'd post directly in the sub-forum that I know is being scraqed.

Sites like this have been been copying these forums for years. I've seen this site before, and I could have sworn Bethesda shut it down already. Maybe they did, and the site opened up again.

At any rate, we're not the people to report this to. Report it to Bethesda. They routinely shut these copycat sites down when we report them. Contact a moderator, or Gstaff.

I'll pass this along to the admins, but there's not much they can do. Every time they close one site, another appears the next day.


Hopefully the new site will not be so easy to copycat like this.
