I've been trying to play Fallout 4 on PS4 for the past few days. Since the very beginning, my character has not been able to move as you normally would in a straight line. It feels like lag or that I'm only able to walk ridiculously slow. This happens in normal travel around the game, not just in combat. I've retuned the game and exchanged copies, reinstalled with the day one patch.
Weirdly, I can proceed towards a destination if I move sideways, meaning if I turn my character away from the destination and sort of side walk, I will move at normal speed. Needless to say, this is a pain in the a** and I'm wondering why I spent $60 on this?
Also, during the Find Kellog quest, while following Dogmeat, I somehow managed to glitch onto the top of the overpass. Very random.
Anyone know if this is the frame rate issue? I don't know much about the technical aspects of video games.
I'm using the Destiny edition PS4, and have uninstalled most of the other games on it to make room for Fallout 4 to run without issue. Or so I thought.
Thanks in advance.
