Gaming and "real brick and mortar things" have always been kept apart when it comes to what customers expect/accept.. Back in 1988 I started talking to my friends about wether or not they would accept a washer they had bought if it was missing say, a rinse cycle that the manufacturer later promised would be installed later and they told you about it after you installed the washer. Most people wouldn't, but, they would accept the rising "get the patch" thinking that was on the rise in the computer gaming world.
Now the gaming industry keeps it up by doing what failing washing machine manufacturers have done for years, buy a well known out of production brand name and relaunch... Doesn't matter that its the same stuff under the shell as before, people recognize the label and will buy..
Well, hard to properly write it in English, but I was laughing when I read that gamesas is back, however, hope you guys manage to pull it off and hope we see a proper and decent release of V13 someday!
