Hi folks. I hope someone can help me. Since Skyrim and Creation Kit were released, I started both in offline mode, except when Updates were needed. When I shut down my computer yesterday evening (CET time), everything still worked, and CK had worked fine in offline mode too so far.

When I started my computer this morning, I can start Skyrim (the game) in offline mode but when I try to start the CK, it tells me:

"Game not available. This game cannot be played in offline mode". Nothing else, no update is wanted.

I re-started my computer several times but nothing changed. Can anyone tell me what is going on here?

Random thought, try going online, opening it, then going back offline and seeing if it works again.

Thanks for the tip, it seems to have worked.

When I started Steam in online mode and started the CK, it told me that CK will be installed ... WTH?

But it only seems to have "installed" the SkyrimEditor.ini and the SkyrimEditorPrefs.ini (I had backups of course).
