If this is a "PC game first" (Claims Crytek)...

The reason for the two suit modes is because speed IS power, kinetically. You can't have a projectile moving the speed of a bullet that fails to have the kinetic force of a bullet. Thus, scientifically, it makes more sense this way. If my legs are stronger, I should be able to move faster, yes?

The thing I hate is how hispter reviewers are so console focused they don't even bother noticing this crap.
The gaming media is a bad joke.

Yeah that makes sense. I mentioned it because Crytek specifically said it was because there are two shoulder buttons (Above the trigger) on gamepads.

The original Crysis supported the Xbox 360 controller. When enabled, the layout lacked Prone because of the suit shortcut key. The new layout is controller friendly, that doesn't make it a console port.

Crytek fked up big time. They should have fkin known that us PC users want DX11 as PC beats consoles on the graphics side. Besides failing to delivery that they still manage to fk up the whole MP section. Fkin sellouts... Im sure their potential PC sales hav dropped quite a lot since the demo.

The game isn't done yet and that's because EA didn't give Crytek enough time. Updates and patches will complete the game.

And Crytek is new to console gaming to that matter. It's a learning experience for them. They know how to make a PC game, so that's why it's PC game first, because it's easy for them to make a PC game. But console gaming, they had to experiment with which is why the PC version shows these console texts. CryEngine 3 is where Crysis 2 is made simultaneously for all platforms. Whatever you do to one version happens to everything else. So first, they make it with PC in mind (gameplay and style-wise), then make the text in console versions to finish it up, THEN move onto finalizing the PC version with specific features. They split development of the game when finalizing. But see, EA DIDN'T GIVE THEM ENOUGH TIME to finalize.

And btw, there's no "Press start to enter" in the final version of the game. Do keep in mind that Crytek made the Crysis 2 demo for xbox 360 exclusively due to partnership and net work stress testing. Making a demo is like making another game. You take a piece of a game and basically make it a game of its own. And crytek only made one version of the demo being the xbox 360 demo. When they had demand for demos on the other platforms, they were allowed to lay off the 360 exclusivity by Microsoft, and they just ported the 360 demo over. BUT, the final release of the game, is not a port of a console or PC. It's Crysis 2 as its own game on every platform made simultaneously.

You biches need to learn how the **** engine works. And if you guys called Crytek avoidable and ignorant as always, then get the **** off. You are not true supporting fans. You guys forgot Crytek when they were able to easily communicate and DID communicate in the Crysis 1 days (where at release they weren't busy as ****). Now they are busy as **** trying to get their game done and you guys lose all loyalty.

ALL YOU **** ARE STUPID KIDS ON THESE FORUMS >_<" Seriously, the box **** says rated "M" for 17+. Wait till' that age you spoiled brats.

pfff,what a fanboy.

You call us no true supporting fans?If we wouldn't be that why would we come to these forums and rage about what Crytek did wrong? And they messed up big time!

If i wouldn't give a **** about Crysis/Crytek i wouldn't be here.I would be at my local game shop and tell this **** to give me my money back.

go check your cfg files and config files 80% what you see is how its converted from console to pc dont bring us that ****

second there is not press start in full version? no **** they had to patch that at demo to remove that if they build this for pc, and then converted it to console you had press enter from the very beginning!

how many reason you want to see that this is a straight console port.

they are busy as **** you say? years of development, testing, fixing, testing, adding, and then you deliver a game so full of errors and bugs? dude wake up, if you didnt see any of these problems before the final release you dont deserve loyalty. and especially not if you say that we have to wait a week for a possible fix, selling a game that dont work and just say ahh later this week we gonna fix it, thats loyalty to us? the ones that buy there broke product.

why did the ps3 demo got removed after one day? they told us that they found bugs and that the removed the ps3 demo to fully focus on the full release, to make sure it would run without to much problems, yeah right you can see that for yourself.....

The reason for the two suit modes is because speed IS power, kinetically. You can't have a projectile moving the speed of a bullet that fails to have the kinetic force of a bullet. Thus, scientifically, it makes more sense this way. If my legs are stronger, I should be able to move faster, yes?

Yeah that makes sense. I mentioned it because Crytek specifically said it was because there are two shoulder buttons (Above the trigger) on gamepads.

Actually, pmead72 is correct. It's not because they wanted an excuse to use the shoulder buttons. The use of the shoulder buttons on the controllers came about after Crytek had admitted the flaw in the suit modes a long time ago. I much prefer the way it's done in Crysis 2. I remember playing Crysis 1 for the first time and thinking about the same flaws, such as: a separate "speed" and a separate "strength" mode.

Meh, either way it the Nanosiot was dumbed down and anything but super human. my experiance was like this.

"Look! I can run as fast as...a...Kenyan?"
"Look I can kick a car a...few feet...ohh look at that Guy! He just threw the car at me!! His suit is better." *nod*

Don't even get me started on the lack of destructible enviroments...
I can't say im really bugged about the streamlining of the suit modes but I am bugged about how much weaker the Nano suit 2 is compared too 1. Streamlining could have been better if PC was the actual platform used and not Xbox360.
Not to mention the retarded costs of your suit upgrades to Nanocatalyst cost.
Useless skills...like seeing through stealth...used once at the end of the game...you know the one without a boss. Tracking enemies upgrade is kind of useless too in its current state.

They had years to finish the game, and got delayed for 5-6 months.

Just because everyone is doing it doesn't make it right. It sure as hell doesn't mean we can't demand better and give them flak for following the lemmings over the cliff. I find it odd that there are people who don't care about what they spend their money on. I am so glad you all are super rich and can afford to waste money. I on the other hand prefer to spend my money on quality items, because i am not rich and can't afford to just throw my money away on poor quality. And when something is not of good quality, I get angery.
The gaming community has lowered its standards and the gaming companys have picked up on this, they can half ass a game then patch it up and people will still fork over $50-$60. I expected some bugs, but not glaring oversights and a half-assed sequal. Crytek did a little bait and switch to fool the PC community on how they were making Crysis 2.

Actually on the pure install, it says "Press Start" there was a patch on release day that changed it to "Press Enter" because someone ****ed up and its easier to change the text file than to remove the start menu...
