So is this game fixed and worth playing online?

Post » Fri Jul 22, 2011 9:14 am

I preordered, played the demo and loved it assuming the problems would be fixed in
the final release; haha, I had no idea that it would be this messed up! I stopped
playing multiplayer a few days after release.

I could write a list several pages long about the problems but, just reading these
forums says it all though.

So are many people still playing? I've only updated to V1.4 for single player and
was thinking about playing online again but it sounds like nobody is playing here
in North America... any feedback on server numbers would be nice... and yeah I'll
update to 1.9 now, and if it screws up my SP gameplay I'm gona be upset!

My system:
Amd64x2 6000+
4gb ddr2
Nvidia 260Gtx
So no dx11 goodness for now

Plenty people playing in n America. Not as much as we'd like but enough are playing. Some good servers in N America as well. He's a few.

Not many are playing the New DLC maps but servers will populate if and when a few players join the servers

On these servers you can be sure you won't run into hackers as much. We work hard to keep hackers and arse holes off the servers.

I was playing on the Crashsite server, I svcked at it but it was my first time playing in multiplayer, and even though i'm in the UK I didn't have any lag and didn't run into any hackers or lamebotters either. Keep up the good work.

So I get killed every 15 seconds or so, but it's fun... Do the stats actually save properly now?

Thanks DDD for a good server, going back to crash site now, and maybe get revenge...

Played on the crash site server today, even from Australia it is decent ping (not great but certainly playable) was nice seeing the admin pop in as well

Try the DDD Pacific Server. It's located on the West Coast and many Aussies play there. It's also a CrashSite server with 2 CTR maps mixed in.

Career progress is still lost when the game disconnects you, crashes or whenever the game doesnt feel like saving it.
