Yeah your right, you dont hear developers raving franticly about their progress on the game, you get game lovers who hype up and exaggerate on such little info to friends and over the internet.
And they presume they know what mistakes and what awesome things they are going to make, when they just dont know. Maybe just for the fame

well... actually pretty much all game developers rave about their game. I mean, bgs is pushing the whole dragon and radiant story things pretty hard (not meant as a negative comment).

Keep in mind your posting this on a TES forum, so ofcourse plenty of people will agree XD.

That being said, I've never been more excited for a video game than this one. I nearly cried watching the Spike TV VGA's, the instant I heard "The Elder Scrolls told of their return".

yeah, the release date is pretty much the day in which the final update is put up and they stop adding stuff to the game, I doubt it will steal any consumers from SK considering by then over 80 % of the people who are going to buy it already have and on 11,11,11 they'll just be getting that last update.

they still have expacs planned, no way notch is going to drop his cash cow.

I agree mass effect 3 is undeserving IMO(if Bethesda did the star trek game before they lost the rights no one would care about ME). The only reason it did well was because of its ( and I use the tern loosely) six sequences. I do not agree with portal thought,lame puzzle game spouted from the pop culture [censored] of the internet.

15 million bucks spread around 10-20 people is amazing in one year.. and thats was about 4 months ago its more like 25 mill atm

I think we should start a thieves guild, steal from the rich and give to the poor, they deserve it more.

Actually, just over five years (about five and a half), just to be technical. It is the best game since Oblivion, which was the best thing since Morrowind, and so on, and so forth.

I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favourite post on the internet. Despite my huge love of Mass Effect and Gears of War, there is no question that Skyrim will wipe the floor with both of these games. Not to mention Dragon Age 2 which was the biggest gaming dissapointment of the decade.

I know. Honestly during the developement of Dragon Age 2 I had complete faith in Bioware despite all the people insisting that it would svck. Then I got the game and it really was just weak. It makes me weep for Bioware's future.
