Not to be negaitve but a few things I agree with and disagre with.
I can see most people agreeing with me, for me, Bethesda are the only developers that make you feel like your in the universe of the game.
Yes this is why I love TES games.
i still play Oblivion now, i just love the excitement we get when we are allowed to actually Role Play a character you wish to be, almost like a book, you feel as if you are exploring it yourself.
This is where I disagree with you here stronly. I didn't feel I was actually roll playing much in Oblivion. A few of the stats are more Real Life human players ability to do things instead of actual roll playing game stats. There is no way a level one person can break a level 100 lock but is possible. There is no way to fail a magic spell in Oblivon, actually you really can't fail in Oblivion, so it was more of an action game than a true roll playing game. So I wouldn't really say and "actually Role Play a character" as you said. But it is still lots of fun and a great time to be enjoyed.
I seriously hope they keep the unique game-play features that we all loved so much.
Thank you Bethesda, you've inspired me into all i am doing today (Modding, designing , ETC) And good luck with Skyrim!
Again what some people love, other people hate and what other people hate, other people love so hard to say what was unique game-play features we loved. I loved the Fast Travel in Oblivion, while many hate it. I hope the keep it for Skyrim, BUT others don't.
I do hope it is the biggest hit because then it will mean we will have TES VI in 5 years time to keep the franchise going.
