this game has deeply attacked my heart(no sense)

Post » Fri Nov 20, 2009 8:11 am

Ok, so I finally got around to helping the brotherhood with their quests and was able to aquire power armor training as well as power armor. no the problem with this is NOBODY likes the brotherhood(except Yes Man i think but besides that point), everyone from the MQ wants them dead, I want to know why, they are the only people you can buy power armor from, get some good weapons, and some other stuff. I mean I loved them in FO3 as well as i loved the Enclave. back on NV however, I like the NCR they are fun to help, The things I don't like however is that 1. you can never join their ranks, you just get a civilian medal and your on your merry way to unreplayability(if you don't have Dead Money[not sure if you do replay, im guess though... don't have it yet]) and 2. There is no possible way to have the brotherhood join you(unless you help Yes Man, then you can persuade them to make-up with the NCR, says Fallout.wikia.

What I'm asking is does anybody else feel my pain?

you can actually forge a truce between the NCR and the Brotherhood of Steel without working with Yes Man.
And Dead Money doesn't allow you to continue after MQ

and Mr. House is best

Spoiler
You can forge an alliance between the Brotherhood and the NCR, assuming you don't replace McNamara. House and the Legion make you kill them, however.

Have you not paid attention at all? The BoS and NCR had a war! Who cares about the [censored] power armor a war pretty much gives them a grudge against each other. The BoS on the East were a weird variation of the original west coast BoS same with the Enclave.

Everyone hates the Brotherhood, because they are being tools reguarding technology.

Nope, I like Fallout 3's white knight BoS, but the Brotherhood out West are dikes, so I really don't feel bad.

I don't think there being tools with the tecno/tech (bos paldins raving everywhere ) but the whole situation with the lock down is rather brotherhood of stupid.

BLASPHEMY dear sir

The ones in Fallout 3 were the blasphemers, good sir. In all honesty, I thought the first game dealt with the Brotherhood the best.

I just wish they would expand on the west coast brotherhood a little bit more. The way they were in the first fallout was awesome and I liked fallout 3's brotherhood too (even though reading some of the posts on here makes me think I might be the only one) but the west coast has got to expand or there not going to last very much longer. For me I hope the ending you get when you declare a truce with the ncr becomes cannon, even though I dont think it will, because thats really the only way the western brotherhood has a chance to survive and it would be a shame to let what I think is the best faction in the series die off like that just for being stupid like they are.

I feel that if they combined fallout 3 and NV together it would be one of the best games ever, IMO

Defenders of Humanity > A moronic 'code' thats essentially a verbose way of saying 'Be a dike and steal peoples tech and lie by saying 'It's for the good of the world'

If your talking about the first meeting where they are all like "lay your weapons on the floor and step away from the robot" all butch and stuff...... yea riiiiiiiight. I have left a trail of bodies of people who have said that to me more than likely less than 15 minutes ago and it worked out badly for them as well. What you did not get the memo? Power armor meets anti-material rifle bing i win, i just love that rag doll animation as i catch one center mass and launch them down the hall. AMR designed to punch big holes in little punk [censored]es, all my chicks look sixy doing it. I love that, Brotherhood of Stupid is apropriate, i mean seriously i have plenty of ammo and you have somehow aquired alot of my stuff before i could vendor it, so you return it to me and as i am feeling generous i will let you keep your skivies, chop chop or this will go badly for you. All your stuff are belong to us.

Sounds just about more interesting to me than one-dimensional arthurian knights.
