This game is a joke

Post » Tue Dec 13, 2011 4:32 am

Maybe he's looking for solutions. The whole reason im here is because i just got [censored] on yet another quest glitch that i had absolutely no way of anticipating unless i decide to read every strategy guide on every single quest in the game prior to playing it.

...So, your definition of asking for solutions is bashing a game on the official forums? That works well, doesn't it?

Can i get some debate on here? Or are these few word sentances the capacity of all of you people's intelligence?

You never mentioned what bug was breaking the game for you. Maybe that would help spark discussion.

Go play CoD...

I bought CoD and played it all the way though... guess how many times it crashed on me? -0-! Sure the post is rather... passionate? :D But I totally understand his frustration... I paid 60 bucks for Skyrim and expect it to not crash every time I do something like swing my sword or cast a spell. :brokencomputer:

Perhaps the poster should learn to relax before posting though as those sorts of posts don't really get a lot of attention from the devs.

Wow, direct threats and everything, I haven't seen that in a while. svcks that you are disappointed with the game. One last thing, if you had been playing games for 22 years now, you would have ha some idea of how Beth games ship, buggy, so you have no excuse to not know this.

I wonder if the OP has ever had a previous Bethesda title on this scale? It is more likely to be the new player's not veterans who would complain. I'm not defending the game or complaining either, i just understand that a game on this scale is bound to have bugs but hey at least they can be fixed right, you say you have been gaming for 22 year's so what about game's that released with bugs but no way to fix so we had to put up with those? Linear game's ' get from point A to point B' are easy to cover in testing more or less, but in a game on this scale how the hell can they test every eventuality?

Take a deep breath and relax and seriously think about what goes into a game these days before you start ranting utter crap.

China called, they want their wall back.

Well that's obvious. That game isn't buggy. It's the same game every year, I could release one without it being buggy. <_<

Tell you what: when they start making games up to your standards let me know cause I'll definitely be buying those games.

But in the meantime I'll be happily playing Skyrim if that's ok with you.

eh, I don't really agree here... I own MANY Bethesda titles and none of them crash as often as Skyrim does.

Yes.

You should probably write a blog about it on emo.com or just call your mom and talk it out.

Well, after reading the news articles about the guys that played the game as part of testing before it was released.. I'd say your argument is ridiculous. You also have many errors in your grammar and spelling. Did you forget to do quality assurance before releasing your post? You don't like the game, big deal. I do, many others do. We live with the issues because we enjoy it. It is so lame seeing these repeated posts from people crying about how terrible a company Bethesda is. So, if they are all that bad.. why are you here, why do you have the game. I understand, you like arguing and bickering. Okay.

If you are having problems with something in the game not functioning correctly, make a visit to the tech support section for Skyrim.

Games that have an open-world structure and allow for a good deal of freedom of choice in action alongside all the scripting that's required to make the world "happen" are going to inevitably have a bug or two.

Games that have a structure more akin to being "on rails" are less likely to experience such, because the experience is limited to how the designers dictated to be, regardless of player choice and intention.

Here's a debate: do you mean few word-sentences or few-word sentences? If the former, then how can one word constitute a sentence when you need both a subject and a predicate? If the latter, then how many words does a sentence need before it's no longer a few-word sentence? Discuss.

Really, making an account to troll is an epic fail. Grow up, go away and learn to punctuate correctly.

Um thats because they are patched.... Fallout 3 , NV and Oblivion were a mess in the first few months of release. If you bought them when they were released you would know this. Hell pretty much any game I have bought in the last 10 years needs 3 or 4 patches to make it 100% stable and semi bug free.

I guess its just eaiser for people to make accounts then wall of text rage, instead of actually asking for help.

I play on ps3 since release, it only freezed once and I had been playing non-stop for twelve hours. I have not encountered any glitches, nor bugs :) I don't understand what everyone is whining about.
