This game lacks seriously ambition

Post » Mon Nov 30, 2015 8:47 am

Things that I wanted in Fallout 4 and is missing:

-Slavery, the possibility to make trading of humans, including children and organs trading

-Prostituion

-Much more monster in the rooster! Take exemple on Dark souls how many disgusting creature you met, everything is the same in Fallout 4

-Sea monsters

-Karma system

-Harder survival mode: I am playing in survival with only leathers armror and I don't have hard time to kick deathclaws/Behemoth asses

-Aliens!

-Guns, swords, weaponry, there are lot more less weapons than in new vegas or fallout 3

-Vehicules, yeah I know but fallout 2 had them

-Real choices mattering: as a RPG I want to be a psychopath and tell someone I murdered his child and he is [censored] is mom in hell, actually whatever we say we play the "good guy".

Well I think this game would have been a good game if its name wasn't "Fallout" but as a Fallout you expect some things much more advlt rated and dark.

When you see what humanity can do actually in real life and it's not even the end of the world, so imagine how much worse it should be in a wasted world.

Final rating: 13/20.

The Karma system would kind of ruin a game about moral ambiguity, wouldn't it?

He's right, it should be a darker world.

That's like saying "Bob's grandson down the street should have a Ferrari because Bob had a Ferrari poster."

It's like Morrowind having magic and Skyrim not having magic, actually.

Games in a franchise should build on the strengths of previous games. Dialogue was very strong in Fallout: New Vegas, as were consequences of your actions and character freedom. Instead of building on that foundation, Bethesda completely removed it.

There's no dark basemant in Fallout 4. The very beginning of the game paints you as being a loving, caring spouse and parent. That is the role that Bethesda decides for you. Hell, you have to help Preston in the beginning too, after you've left the vault. What if my character doesn't want to help? What if my character wants to be the bad guy, like he could be in Fallout: New Vegas?

Too bad, so sad for Fallout fans. Obsidian were the Brothers Grimm and Bethesda is Disney.

I had a fragging big mirelurk queen come swimming Godzilla style up out of the water on the East coast last night. And no less then four mirelurk kings out of a lake earlier the same night.

Found a crashed UFO too, and some blood, but no sign of the alien itself.

I have a bewildering array of swords, guns, and various instruments of death in my personal armory. And that doesn't even touch the variations through the crafting system, loot table, and Legendary modifiers.

You might be a clumsy troll or inept reviewer with poor grammar sorry to say.

First of all my grammar is going very well and secondly: if you are happy with 3 types of guns, 3 types of rifles, 3 types of blades 2 types of mireluck (the queen was unique), then you'll be probably happy to play MSDOS games or even commodore games in 2015.

No. Fallout 2 did not have any physics. My anology is spot on because in the older games it was just a picture of a car not a real working car with driving physics.

There's no magic in Skyrim? I thought I went to some Hogwarsty place and became head magic-dude.

Ah sorry I see it's an example of the difference - got it. thanks. Sorry I was being dim.

No, he means that having a car in FO2 and not 3 or 4 would be like having magic in Morrowind and not having it in Skyrim. But he's wrong as i pointed out.

Some of these things are in vanilla, some of the others are in mods, and the rest are being developed in mods.

Bethesda games aren't good vanilla you buy them because you can have epic mods that give an experience like no other.

FO3 and FNV with some mods is this game almost. I guess FO4 must have been way higher on those points.

Exactly that's why I got it on PC but things could have be done better for a 5 years developpement and some in game-mechanics are not moddable.

After all I come to the point this game is not destined to a franchise fan, but to an occasional, casual gamer. Money talks.

It was also a 2D isometric game. Obviously it wouldn't have a working car. However, Fallout 4 is a 3D game, so an obvious translation from a picture of a car in a 2D isometric game is a working car in a 3D game.

Nice try though.

A couple of points now I have edited and/or trashed a number of posts.

Killing children is a prohibited topic on these forums, it is considered mature content and is not a feature of Bethesda games. Don't bring it up again.

Calling other members a troll is considered flaming and can result in a warning if any of you do it any another post.

Read the http://www.gamesas.com/topic/724862-forum-rules-and-general-information/, both of these are in them - OK? Right, back to constructive discussion.

Yep, not sure why Beth opted for a cleaner and more tame setting in post-apocalyptic America.

Fallout heavily featured prostitution and slavery.

Because not every game has to be about cultist murderers who want to summon Satan from the world of the damned.
