Not 1995 it's more like 2002, the textures are the same resolution as morrowind and the shadows are worse than what they showed in Oblivion E3 (before xbox ruined it).

Your crashing issues may not be with the game. I'm 20 hours into the game with no crashes. Graphics are not terrible either. I'm running them on ultra high settings. Though, gameplay is better than graphics. Hell, as long as the game was good I'd play a 2d scroller. But thats just me.

I think the graphics are amazing too mate. Not crashing anymore, which is why I posted my .inis as they might help other people

IDK what game your playing but it can't be Skyrim. In Reality cities in one nation do not look all that far off from each other. I don't know why people think all of the towns should look different. For example most buildings in major American cities are made of brick or Concrete. If you're experiencing crashes etc, or you just want to maximise the graphics (and you have a fairly decent rig) give my combination of .inis and tweaks a go. Solved my problems, and might do the same for you

Those are some awesome screenshots

I think the main ones griping are ones on console, since they are limited to a lower resolution compared to us PC gamers.

Even on console this game looks and plays great. My theory is that these TESnewbs think that all games should look like BF3/MW3/(Other uber linear FPS) and don't realize that this game has probably 10 times or more the content and gameplay and features compared to those games.

Or they don't have a HD video cable... which really does make it look bad, but that's in no way the fault of Bethesda.

i dont even see how people say the graphics are bad, there not the best, but there good enough. i've never played elder scrolls for graphics anyway. and going on what ur sayin, its easy to tell ur full of [censored], sayin its like a game from 2000, thats like saying it has same graphics as morrowind when it clearly doesnt
