Is this game right for me?

Post » Fri Dec 16, 2011 9:33 am

I play shooters. I have played a few RPGs but they havent been to much fun for me. I like killing things and ranking up and doing dungeons and all that stuff. I play WoW and I love it. Is skyrim a good game for me?

Skyrim is not an MMO. If you like WoW because of the MMO aspect, then no, Skyrim is not for you

Maybe go to your friend's home and try it first. Or use other means to try it first before buying it.

Because from what you say I doubt you'll like this much. I have a friend with similar preference as you(except he doesn't play MMOs) and he loves Fallout 3 but doesn't like TES series.

Yes you will likely enjoy it! Use archery for ranged combat for sure and just remember: this is not a game where maximizing everything u can wiill make it more fun necessarily it's more about the journey than the end-goal of being a Demi-god

If you don't like RPGs--by which I assume you don't like numbers, figuring out what skills to raise,etc--and you enjoy shooters, you'd probably enjoy Skyrim a great deal. Unless you're looking for multiplayer, which it doesn't have.

You're implying that he has friends?

The game is rife with killing things and exploring dungeons, and while it is long, it's also thoroughly entertaining. I guess you could say the game is what you make it.

It is a nice experience, but go into it knowing this. There are bugs. quite a few of them.
If you can overlook them you can play the game as an archer/whatever combo you like and it will be a FPS..it's all in how you want/like to play.
If you enjoyed borderlands, you'll like skyrim.

lol Halthor, I think you and I ARE the ONLY ones.
you're either educated in old cartoons, or, like me...old. ;D
