Hello everybody.
About a year ago, I started to store my Xbox 360 saved games on my 1.86 GB USB stick. Everything worked well after I configured it to store those games, but a few weeks later, after I started to store my Skyrim saved games on it, the USB stick started to have some serious problems. The saved games got corrupted and it seems to have affected the USB too. I tried deleting the saved games one-by-one on the stick, but it still showed that those corrupted saves were still present on the device. Then I tried to format the whole USB stick on my computer and to my surprise, it showed that there was 1.86 GB worth of data stored on it and there was only about 3 MB free space left. It did not have nearly as much data on it before the Skyrim saves got corrupted. Anyway, I tried formating it on my computer, but STILL, it showed that it was full. I do not know what to do anymore. I had saved games of Fable 2, GTA 4 and Modern Warfare 3 on it for a few months and the USB worked flawlessly. But after those Skyrim saves on it got corrupted, it is entirely useless now.
So basically here are the problems that the corrupt saves created:
1. My computer shows that the entire 1.86 GB USB stick is using all of its available space even though I did not have nearly as many saved games on it. I cannot use the USB for storage anymore.
2. Deleting the saved games one-by-one on my Xbox 360 does not help. They magically reappear after I take the stick out of the console and put it back later.
3. Formating the whole USB on my computer does not help. It shows that the USB is still full after I format it.
As long as I do not get that USB clear, I cannot access Xbox Live, as I do not have enough memory on my console to download the title update. And I am sorry if the text is not understandable as English is not my primary language. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
