The BF3 screenshots look quite nice overall, but up close the detail seems a bit lacking sometimes. The gfx in the beta MP videos I've seen looked horrible. I understand if they were restricted or lowered but I wonder how far BF3's gfx will go. Even with all the praise I doubt they will reach near C2's highest capabilities. Then there's the gameplay, idk why that type appeals to so many right now but doesn't look like my kind of game

No doubt BF3 is set to be a good game.
BUT - I'm sick of the modern war setting now, every game is doing it nowadays! >:(
And, although I'm sure BF3 will have better textures than Crysis 2, I still think Crysis 2 looks better visually, it's much more colourful and interesting rather than plain old desert brown over and over again
If they remade Bf2142 on Frostbite 2 it would definitely be awesome, I'll tell you that

check out the new texture mods and graphic mods from maldo and this other guy .. i forgot his name.. just go on crymod.com

with these mods c2 sp will SURE look better than BF3..
