This game svcks.. (period)

Multiplayer was ok..kind of repetitive..Online is AWFUL..energy is SOOO annoying..No customization features for appearance of your nano-suit..LAG and disconnections almost every game...reboot deletes all of your stats and rewards you nothing...Ha pathetic attempt EA/Crytec!! Other than the pretty good graphics this games is garbage...should be sold for about $25...not $65...(sigh) back to Halo Reach..

I wish the multiplayer characters were customizable, and they looked like prototypes of
"prophet" instead of looking like cartoon modern warfare characters...I just think a lot of the budget went into the campaign and not so much of the multiplayer...

Not really sure why you think the game svcks. Personally, though the multiplayer has not given me alot of trouble. Played not so many games but only got disconnected once. No lag or anything.

I do admit. Is annoying having to "unlock" stuff. That for me is a turn off for multiplayer. It should be level based and thats it, end of it. Having to do so many things with x attachment is not fun, is a chore.
lv 1 unlocks x, y
lv 2, unlocks, x, y, z

etc.
On that respect I do agree it svcks. But for the rest I am not sure what you mean.
Graphics?
Sound?
Story?
Gameplay?
MP?
-----
Graphics? Decent, very well done, and up to par with current technology. 10/10
Sound? A bit of glitches here and there, but overall soundtrack is... well sound. Enjoyable. 8/10
Story? A bit confusing, but once I read the background of it and went to my friend's house to play a bit of the first one everything came into place. hard to piece a story by just playing the sequel. However it is a tad obscure in some aspects. 8/10
Gameplay? Rather well. Single Campaign lacked some creativity as to the use of Nanon Catalyst after full aquisition of all upgrades has been accomplished. While I applaud the customization in single player, they were how they say.... short sighted given their ideas.
If you open the gates to heaven but only allow you to view heavens from the lobby it leaves you wanting more. All attachments should be available for all weapons within reason. no grenade launcher for shotguns, but scopes, silencers, magazines, gauss etc should be available for every rifle, including sniper. So... 8/10
MP---Honestly have not played alot, and it gives me the feeling of Chromehounds or End War. Those who play alot have way too much upgrades since they dedicated alot of time into the attachment... "progress level". MMO feels is annoying. Lv unlock should be that simple, lv x unlocks X no more than that. So a 7/10

Even like me, that critics every game and believes most games svck... this one was surprising. In a bad Estimate I give it a 82. Low "B" but hey... no game I've played recently has gotten an "A" so that is saying alot.

Funny i thought the whole campaign was amazing for a shooter compared to any of the recent campaigns for shooters. Cmon any of the recent cod campaigns were just boring and repetative and short. Halo reach... please... more repetative and graphics that look like a trekky designed a coloring book. The graphics in this game made me feel like i was really in NYC...and i live there so theyre great for me... the soundtrack is on par with halo i think.
One mp map i really love the graphics on is terminal... ever been to grand central station? Played that map now you have. Anyway i think the mp svcks and is beyond repair but it is definitely one of my favorite campaigns and a definite graphic masterpiece. Again though the framerate drops too much in mp to be smooth but i will praise the campaign to anyone. Just my 2 cents.

I enjoyed the campaign as i stated in my OP, but it did kind of get repetitive..The graphics were great and NYC looked awesome..but I didn't pay $65 for a 8hr campaign...REACH mp kills C2 MP..in every aspect..

Well... if you passed the campaign in 8hr... then thats way too short. Unless you passed it cloaked and running. Which might explain somethings.

But if you think reach is better well thats your opinion. I like both anyways.

Well yep i think reach has better mp... as i stated before i think this games mp is severely screwed... which was a letdown bc i thought they were getting close to perfecting it after the second demo which i thoroughly enjoyed... now i have to wonder why i enjoyed the demos and not the actual full mp experience...wow now im confusing myself.

Unlocking attachments and modules is a chore? Do you kids understand the concept of earning anything? Sacrifice? Everyone wants all the perks handed to them & winning the games to be so easy they can eat a burrito while playing. Meeting requirements for a stated reward is what rank based video games are all about. Kids 14-18 have a false sense of entitlement. Look, all you did was spend your parent's money to buy a video game. You probably got automatic level 5, hologram attachment & scar camo skin for that, so quit whining.

You targeted that argument at the wrong people. I have a job and a life. I also love video games, FPS being my favorite. I've liked nearly every one of them that had good MP. But this leveling system that so many games are adopting is **** stupid. It is a chore to unlock ****. I want to play for fun. I don't need a sense of accomplishment. My sense of accomplishment in a video game is having fun and raping other players. If i needed an EXP system to show me accomplishment I'd go play a RPG.

Why should i have to wait until level 28 to play classic or level 27 for the scarab? I was good enough to use the scarab the second i installed this game. Leveling and unlocking **** is a gimmick to keep people playing as long as possible. That's all it has ever been. Tho i deal with it like a lot of other people, there's no reason to say someone svcks because they don't want to grind out experience levels so that they can play the game the way they want to play it.

WoW.... I cant believe people are still having this argument.

I am not saying that this game does not have its flaws but you must have no real experience to base your arguments on. See the title still being relatively new will still have its flaws and glitches. Blah, blah, blah... tired of this same old rant.
Then I really think you guys must really not understand the point of "you get what you earn". There is such a thing as level progression. If you have never played a game with that concept in mind then please shut up and enjoy a new experience or get out. We are all tired of reading your crap. All of your reasons for not enjoying the game seem juvenile and one sided and all focused around your inability to adapt to a new game model. (which actually is not NEW but different than other FPS titles)

I hear Black Ops calling and they want their FANBOYS back.

There has not been one game of any genre with a leveling system that has ever required you to "earn" anything. Leveling is directly related to time and skill. Better players level at slightly faster speeds than **** players. But leveling is still directly related to how much gametime you have. It's been the exact same way for every EXP based leveling system. A good player might rank up in 3 matches whereas a **** player ranks up in 6.

It's seriously retarded and I can't believe FPS games started doing it. Unless you're 15 and bragging to your friends about how you're 2 levels higher or a higher prestige it really doesn't matter. It just keeps people playing longer. I would have probably returned this game already if classic was unlocked earlier.... so i guess they win. It's still **** for the players tho.

SP = A*
MP = C-

Sort out connection and rebooting and give us all Stealth Enhance III (so we can move around from the get go and MP) = A.

Quite honestly I don't think anyone gives a damn about what you have to say about the game. Please sell it, and stop posting on the forums. Go back to Black Ops.

It's funny how people can always find something to b**** about. It's called COMPETITIVE multiplayer for a reason. the people who are serious about it want rewards and recognition for their efforts. People that are
"casual" gamers (i.e. no skill) want it all unlocked from the start so it can be "Fair" = ( Yet Black Ops was slammed for letting people buy attachments and camos in any order without really earning them. hmmm seems odd. And gears fans are finally getting a true ranking system and unlocks with Gears 3, hmmmm very puzzling. MP will always be more fullfilling when there is progress to be made. If you don't have time to play very often and can't level your character up in a decent time, then maybe competitive MP is not the place for you. Just saying.

I agree with AGJ, but Larry has a point as well.

The unlock system is fine and does reward players, this is a common theme among gamers they like to feel like their progressing and work towards something. Expecting everything to be handed to you is not a great philosophy in any aspect of life.

Larry was right about the game mode unlocks though, the level's required for them is absurd, takes far too long. Also when he said that he doesn't agree to grinding im in the same boat as him. I don't my grinding in mist cases but when it comes to the following two things I do;

1) Getting Armor to level 6. I don't use armor so it has taken me to level 23 (I rebooted) to get it to level 6 even though I didn't want to use it just so I could use Nano Recharge/Energy Transfer.

2) Grinding for Stealth Enhance III.

Without these three perks the game is almost unplayable, I had to grit my teeth for 10 hours or so until I could get these. Without them I'm constantly recharging every 15 seconds and I find it PAINFUL to do, I can't stand it.

The multiplayer characters look gay on this game, I think if they made the vidors reflective, like the nano suits in the showcases in Hargreaves main hall, that would of made a great difference.

Explain to me how this MP was repetitive yet every other MP isn't.

Don't like it, don't play it. No-one cares if random player stops playing.
