Is this game worth it

Post » Sun Mar 06, 2011 7:24 am

Haven't been following this game much, but since the release i have gotten an interest in it.
Not many of my friends have it so they cant tell me much about it.

And also, there have been a lot of really bad views on the game and a lot of really good views which is making me very confused. :P

I might wait until this game goes to around $30-40 , because Call of Duty is just getting ridiculous now, and i need a new game to play.

worth it IF you like games that have only certain levels that are always the same and encounters change depending on players only.

so this is sort of a game where you have to like that certain thing, a niche game i think.

If you have low expectations and enjoy games that are solely objective based then buy it.

There is a great backstory to it, with a main story that is set upon battles during the the final days that showed the winner: either the success of Security or the success of the Resistance.

So yeah :P

Being a team based game with objective gameplay I agree it is a niche game.

Some reviews are good some are bad... the REALLY bad reviews are from people that either dont like team-based obj style gameplay or did not play the game very long at all so you can ignore those.

Best advice... if your on PC with an nvidia card it will run well with a decent system and inet connection. If your on PS3 its a bit laggy and if your on 360 it WAS very laggy and has some texture load issues.

PC check youtube videos... watch the tournaments to see if its a game style you would enjoy.

If your on ps3 rent and watch videos

if your on 360 watch videos and read A LOT before purchasing. Also just be aware the 360 version is the one with the most trouble as well as the one with the most people complaining about the game.

If there's any advice you need to hear, it's the following.

Rent it first.

You'll either really love the game or be really disappointed. Most people here have either stuck around because they love it, and some are hanging around to [censored] & moan. I love the game personally, IMO it's been worth every cent and is easily the best console shooter I've ever played.
