I was listening/watching the opening movie for Oblivion on Youtube earlier and even though I am still playing the game and everything it STILL gave me goosebumps.
It's just awesome.
These games really are more than the sum of their parts - no wonder I'm so addicted to the damn thing!!

There, I don't care how that sounds or the fact that it's "just" a game - it's Awesome.

I uh.... sometimes start a new game just so I can revisit that flyby.

Although in the beginning I was disappointed that Bethesda recycled Morrowind's theme song, I have to admit that the opening has grown on me. I've watched it several times over the years and each time I've grown a little more fond of it.

Thousands of hours of talented graphic artist's time and effort were consumed in the creation of this game. Writers wrote their tomes and quests, tech-weenies weaved their magical thoughts into language that only a machine could understand. No doubt, when they were done, they consumed something to celebrate. I say live, love, and be happy for we might never see the like of this giant again.

I love the opening music, I always listen to it and I never skip ahead. I still get goosebumps from the trailer on youtube and I always get so relaxed every time I play it. This is a world I would want to get very old within. Is anyone working on a device that can get me there?
