This is how a good admin does it....

I've been getting into playing Crysis3 lately, it's a cool game and it looks and runs killer on my machine. I wish more people felt that way.....
Anyway, I was recently banned from one of the few fun servers in my area that's actually populated. Disappointed, I left a note here in gamesas which was then forwarded to the server admin. The admin got back to me and we exchanged a message or two and the misunderstanding was worked out and now I'm playing in one of my favorite servers again. This is how it's done.
Personally, I've been running servers since Quake 2, I believe this was the first online FPS that allowed us to host. There was no Gameservers.com or any third party you could rent a server from back then. You ran it yourself, which means you also set it up yourself, physically and virtually. You were actually an admin, not some kid who rented a server and has RCON.
All too often now-a-days you run into admins who ban skill because they cant deal with the competition or they just ban because they're on a power trip. In my years of gaming experience I've ran a lot of servers and have played in a few serious competition clans so I've met and know a lot of other admins. It's always good to meet another guy who does it right.
Anyway, thanks alot Zito Himself. Cheers. You're exactly the kind of guy who should have RCON. If the rest of you guys want to come play a cool server thats ran right, Wolrd at Crysis is where it's at.
I hope this was appropriate to put here. I just wanted to post about a positive experience with one of our server admins. =)

Thank you very much, I actually worry when I ban someone. I want to be 99% sure they are hacking, or that they are knowingly violating the rules before anything goes down. No one should ever be banned for being "too good". Accidents do happen though.

World In Crysis is designed to create a place where experienced players can go to try new load outs and play styles and where new players can go to learn some tips and tricks from the older players. You shouldn't see any veteran players there running with the well known overpowered loadouts obliterating the less experienced ones.
