So why are you giving the guns this much recoil?

Because recoil control raises the skill ceiling?

or something. I never thought that there was that much recoil, compared to BF3, etc.

I love the increased recoil, because it makes sustained full auto fire inaccurate. Now there's a good tradeoff for full auto guns and thus a good reason to pick semi-auto guns like the takedown instead unlike before.

The last patch fixed the takedown ?No, but now that the SCAR has significant recoil the gap between it and the other guns has become smaller, I don't know if it's enough to be completely balanced but I'm pretty sure it's more balanced than before.

It doesn't. Not when burst firing is useless. It increases randomness.

this is great.
all the rifles were a bit better than all the other guns, especially smgs and shotguns.

if theirs no recoi,l then the guy that gets the first shot is just about always going to win the fight.

Do you stand still in your firefights?

Nope. I don't have to be good at aiming to win. I just have to move around enough that it doesn't matter how good my opponent's aim is. Now, that isn't feasible, considering jumping, pre-patch, made recoil a pain in the ass, it's nearly impossible to incorporate movement, and still hit the side of a barn, now that the guns themselves have ludicrous recoil. I don't even care about the Scar, either. The Scarab's recoil was damn near perfect with the last patch: rarely went out of control against one target, but shooting down more than one, without stopping, made it uncontrollable.
