This just came to mind...

So, let's say there's an arena in Skyrim, similar to the one in Oblivion.

You walk out of one gate and stare down your opponent, readying your weapon, preparing to strike. In an instant, however, an enormous shadow cloaks the arena, and as everyone looks up, your eyes focus on a fierce dragon, swooping down, looking to cause havoc. Today was not your opponent's lucky day, as he quickly becomes nothing more than dragon food. Terrified, the crowd begins to disperse, shrieking in fear. You, however, taunt the dragon, and raise your weapon, charging at the beast in an effort to bring it down. Mid-charge, you shout a phrase in a foreign tongue, causing time to halt. Taking advantage, you swiftly deliver powerful strikes to the dragon, finishing it off with a final shout, which emits a devastating force, knocking the enemy against the wall, and crashing down to the ground. Those of the crowd who remained to witness the feat fall to silence, only to erupt in loud cheers after a few moments...

I really don't know what purpose this serves. It's just an idea that came to mind while participating in the arena in Oblivion. Lol.

I think you just gave Bethesda the idea of a lifetime for Gameplay Trailer 2.

I hope there is gladiator fighting. Its a Nord tradition in old times i believe they would challenge eachother to duels? and it was for honor? maybe thatll just be left for the street challenges they mentioned. Gladiator seems to romanesque now i think about it, which is what Oblivion was based on entirely.

I'm not gonna lie, I thought this was going to be another "wouldn't it be cool if they did this?! hurr durr!" threads but your idea sounds incredibly epic.

If bethesda sees this, they'll set this post to TOP SECRET - SPOILERS.
