your right, the Fatman is not meant for survival in most terms (like I said in my explosive thread, its a HUUUUGE risk-reward factor)
Deathclaws are abundant in Gypsum Train Yard, Dead Wind Caverns front door, and nearby the Quarry (not the mission-related ones)
Supermutants are also abundant by 10-12 perhaps at Black Mountain. well...unless you killed Tabitha like I did on accident.
most weapons are usually in the ok section (btw, getting the mod and perk make it a good weapon, not ok ._. but thats your opinion)

Fair enough, 7.5 pounds, 100 hp, and 600 (1,000 with Dem. Expert.) is a 'good' weapon. So I guess it does come down to taste and tactics. As usual.

I have a question. Does the Boomer who carries the Fatman inventory replenish even if you don't kill her but still wait 3 days? Because I don't want to do any Boomer killing even if they do respawn.

I'm the exact opposite. I've still to this day to make it even halfway through Oblivion's main quest, much less the rest of it, due to getting tired of the way everything looks the same."Ooh look more flowery fields." "Oh, look. The same damn cave/dungeon as the last 10." Whereas, In Fallout I love to explore every nook and cranny. The only game i've found more repetitive than Oblivion world/scenery wise is Dragon Age 2.

Kids nowadays, simple games are more interesting to kids how sad..... :down:

The Fat Man is dumb. Period. It doesn't do NEARLY as much damage as it should and it's ammo in NV is rare.

We go from a pathetic 94 mini nukes(with some dlcs of course) to a pathetic 14. The only way to get more nukes is to kill Boomers.

If I want to spend serious cash on nukes, I should. Sure, using Mercy is fun and all, but sometimes I want to show that I'm serious and blow the competition away.(my explosive characters are exclusively explosive)

Found some mini nukes, but not one launcher and I discoverd 90% of all places in the Mojave

Too heavy anyway
