This is a basic interest thread:

This Land is Your Land is a faction based RP. I cannot take credit for the idea though, I thank MrSmileySmiles for the idea. I also thank Dr. Strangelove, where ever he is now, for the inspiration for this taking. I also thank Ant1iv3 for helping me on this.

Anyways, The RP places you as one of the many factions on the Mississippi River Delta. From the Gulf Coast to Saint Louis, they are there. From the Louisianan Republic to the Saints of Louis. There has been peace in their time from a treaty signed by the Mississippi Alliance, The Louisianan Republic, The Warrenites, the Saints of Louis, and the Little Rockers. But, of course, War Never Changes. A old enemy from the west, dipped in VATS and oppressed, come into the midwest, blood thirsty, driving a horde of mutants. Soon, this utopia that is "perfect" will soon come crashing down upon the people. Will you stand at the forefront of the war, or step out? Will you become the victor, or the looser?

I already have.

Also, your character you sign up for is the leader of the faction, but you can control anyone in your faction.

Well, its been a while since I've been on the forums. I'd be interested in joining and ease myself back into RPing. I always was interested in Mr.SmileySmiley's RP about Florida. It seemed like something with a whole lot of potential.

Thanks, I think your part of the older guys on these forums. I did base this off of Smiley's Florida one. Though, this covers much more land.

No, I have a long list of factions thanks to Ant1iv3, so I won't allow Custom Factions unless someone gives me a detailed faction info.

Well, in my honest opinion, it is kinda not interesting. Just factions battling it out across different places. I don't think it will stand a chance against the other creative Rps...but that's just my improper english's opinion...

No, its not a battle RP. This isn't CoD.

Its something like the Total War series. You run a empire. Cool, you start a war, thats great, but war isn't the main focus, and your calling my idea not interesting?

You asked for criticism, Name, and not everyone has to say something positive, it just has to be constructive. I'm sure he didn't mean to come off sounding like an ass. :spotted owl:

I'm glad you put time and effort into this (unlike a lot of RP's around here) and it seems like a decent idea. I'll take another look at it when the full outline is up.

Can you post the outline on this topic if you've wrote in in a doc yet? Id like to see it. Otherwise you can put one up on a seperate topic. I think the total war idea is a good thing. Diplomacy, war, strategy, and tactics would be fun to play out in fallout.

Once this is fully fleshed out and in extreme detail, I'll let you know if I'm willing to join. I assume you already know, but you have a big responsibility on your hands with a faction RP.

The weight isn't all on your shoulders though, the people signing in this RP should really be prepared for complete devotion to this. A faction RP is a whole different style of RP, and it basically boils down to how mature you are as a roleplayer.
