@Adam

Thanks for adding that. Here is my UPDATED Political/Economic Sheet:

Economic:

It is doing well trading wise. It trades with the Warrenites, The Saints of Louis, and occasionally, The Louisiana Republic. Their tax money usually goes to maintain, Military upkeep, and funding for projects and school systems. They also have a weapon trade with the FreeRunners. Their official currency is The Mississippi Dollar, but in towns, people trade with anything useful.

Political:

They are allied with most factions and are in a pitched Cold War with The Louisiana Republic. The only faction they are at war with is the NMLA. They have strained relationships with The Little Rockers. Here is their leader system:

Mike Jackson (President)

Jim Andersen Jr. (Vice President)

Alex Johanson (Speaker of The Hall)

Harry Mason (Congress Majority Leader)

Bernard Jacobson (Congress Minority Leader)

General Jacob Anderson (General of the Corps)

I assume each faction is going to have its own currency? If so, shall we try and work out some kind of exchange rate? If trading is to be a key area of the RP, knowing our way around each other's currency is important I reckon.

Currently, I'm still working out how my character's backstory will fit nicely into the RP without causing too much confusion and/or complication.

Well I would imagine my currency to be pretty weak in comparison, Midas Valley offers little to the big dogs but maybe to smaller factions the food we sell and meds we make will be enough. Then again, Vault City had enough medical tech in it's city of a measly 103 people to even supply the NCR and the Enclave; that's what I do, make medical gear (though a continuation of the pre-war Med Tek) to sell, as well as water and food.

Either caps or pre-war money should be the main currency since this rp and the location is based around each other. getting into specific faction currency would be way too confusing for rp particapents and may cause confusion and mess the rp up.

Freerunner Information.

Political: Currently have no enemies. They have an alliance with the Mississipi group, where they exchange guns and produce. Freerunner's mercenaries are under control of John Marlowe in a "dictatorship" way of life, but John is a fair and great dictator/leader. The Mercs do not go after any Mississipi Alliance leaders and such, unless the price if right...(evil laugh).

Economic: Business is booming. Propoganda litters many streets of towns in the region. Recruits are frequently entering the merc faction, mostly because of the big pays promised. Free runners earn much money from successful assassinations, usually $1000 for a simple target! It's alot, but just one person could change the region...and John and Free runners know that. The Mississipi Alliance and freerunners are not "friends" entirely, but "business partners." The Alliance supplies the Freerunners with many guns and weaponary and vehichles, and in return they get produce, wool, ect.StrongsupplylinesfromKY 2 Mi

NMLA Government, Military Ranks, Economics.

Government

The NMLA's government consists of council members, inquisitors, forerunners, and the high inquisitor. These mutants pass down ideas from one to another in an orderly and organized manner. While Arcadia, the high inquisitor, has the final say, the forerunners and other inquisitors can change his idea. But only if they all vote unanimously. Otherwise, Arcadia controls most everything.

Council Member- The council member is chosen to serve on the council by the inquisitors for showing intelligence. These mutants have some control over smaller issues, like distant settlements and changing economic prices.

Inquisitor- The inquisitors are former members of the council, who showed that they are superior and can make decisions in rough situations. These mutants have control over larger settlements and military situations.

Forerunners- The oldest and most experienced of the NMLA, these mutants have a large say in everything that occurs within the NMLA. This includes alliances, trade agreements, war, and Memphis itself.

High Inquisitor- The highest rank in the NMLA. Arcadia is currently high inquisitor. He has the final say in everything related to the NMLA.

Military Ranks

Grunts- The scrubs of the military, these men always have to follow orders. They are usually sent headfirst into battle, and usually don't live very long.

Warlord- Showing great military prowess, these mutants usually lead other grunts into battle. They also have access to powerful assault rifles.

Overlord- There are few overlords, but they command large forces of mutants. They usually do not engage in battle, but when they do, they make a huge difference.

General- Brutis is currently the general. He has control over all the military, and is second in command of the NMLA. He is extremely powerful, yet his time in battle is limited.

Economy-

The NMLA does little trade. They mainly loot all towns they come by, taking everything and leaving nothing. The little trade they do is usually with small groups that smuggle high powered weapons. They do not commence trade with any other factions. They also have many workers, who scavenge for a large portion of the day. If the NMLA is ever running low on something, they can usually ambush a caravan and get what they need.

Yep, but one; I like to RP political figures, and two; it's easier for me because the character himself has direct control over the faction. Well, maybe not total direct control -- his power depends on the strength of Congress, amongst other things.I write as what's called a 'third-person limited narrator', as a opposed to a 'third-person omniscient narrator'. This means I write from the perspective of one person, not the world in general. Due to this, it's difficult for me, personally, to write in the style Name proposed.

If you are going to be the head, can I be your General, ro some other advisor/senator/baron person in the government. Upon reading all the descriptions this one seemed to be the one I liked most.

Of course this also would have to okayed (sp.) by Names

Yeah, that's the most plausible possibility. Perhaps an impeachment? I'd prefer that over an election because what are the chances, realistically, of Kessler being voted out of office after everything he's done? The fact that he would be standing for election again is testament to his desire to carry on.Of course, re-election is neither here nor there if the Republic follows the tradition of two terms max. Though that's not to say they're binded by old world customs. Then there's the option of Kessler simply resigning after a long career. Whatever, I'll come to a decision.

The country/nation did not really seem democratic to me, the way Kessler was described he seemed almost like a dictator, the way it says he almost preparing for war. So you coul easily be a general of his who silently takes over via assasination of Kesssler.

Well, you can always look at the OP post. *sigh*

Also, the RP goes from Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Somerset Kentucky. And from Saint Louis, Missouri, to The Gulf Coast.

I have one question, if I create my own faction , what is the limit as to how far my faction could be located geographically? Would I be able to play as the Warren (It was originally from and RP of the same name from a while ago, a city state all the way in Kansas? They could possibly have a base in Arkansas so they would not be too remote.

Yes, I could, I think I will.

I also am not an American, but I do know basic geography. But I gotta agree with him, I dont really know anything about the south, Somerset Kentucky, to me and I guess Enclave that might as well be Randomland. SO a real map or maybe like a link to the area on Google Maps or something would be pretty helpful.
