Tell me if it's okay. The character itself is not my best creation, I didn't know exactly how to make him but when actually get into the RP he will work himself out, sorry for the choppy Bio.

The Faction:

-The Suns-

The Suns was little more than a hostile group of tribes before I man with little wit and big guns came along, through force he got the tribes to work together and form one nation, they were pissed. One day a man decided to challenge the leader to one on one comment and killed him. Three years later another man challenged the new leader to one on one and won. And thus has it been for the last fifty years. Perhaps this gives insight to the type of nation The Suns are, they are the filth of the earth, if you don't have strength or power than your useless. Every man and woman are required to join the military and leaders are selected on who is the most powerful, they often raid smaller settlements and enslave their victims, selling them or using them for cheap labor. These men are all about war.

The CS:

Name: Victor Hel
Race: Caucasian
Age: 27

Height: 6'7
Weight: 190 Ilbs
Physical Description: “Savage” is what comes to mind when someone looks at Victor. His body is almost all muscle, his light brown hair hangs around him in a cascade of tangled knots, flowing down to his shoulder blades and completely covering his fave. His eye is a very dark green and it seems to never blink, always following the person he is speaking too. He is always smiling, a smile of unnaturally white and sharp teeth. His nose is rather large and crooked, his left eye is missing, an empty and ugly hole is all that is left. His cheeks bones are rather low and his cheeks seem concave, giving him an appearance of not have eaten in the past three days. His skin has been tanned deeply, the color of earth. They are covered in tattoos and scars from battles and radiation. His whole appearance makes him look like more of a beast then a man.

Clothing: Naked from the waist up. Tan Jeans. Eye-patch
Misc: Zap Glove

Personality: Paranoid to the extreme. He trusts no one or thing, he is in constant motion trying to let the anxiety attacks he frequently has which has lead to sleep deprivation. This in turn leads to some dementia. He is usually always smiling, but he hates every living thing, and is always quick to stab a person in the back for personal gain. He is relentless in his pursuit and steadfast in his beliefs. All in all he is a paranoid person who hates everyone and will not stop until he kills you or you kill him. Also, he hates eyes.

Bio: His tale may be a bit sad for no one has ever loved him, but do not take pity on this monster, he made his own decisions. Victor Hel was born James C. Smith to Adam Smith and Maria Smith, a family that could not have been more dysfunctional. Adam was intoxicated around the clock spending far more time at the bar then with his son, half of the time he spent with his son was used to beat the living hell out of him.

Victor remembers the time he had touched his dad's brand new wrench, silver and shiny, it looked like an appealing object. Adam had bragged about said wrench for weeks, not because it was particularly useful, but because it was rare and because it was his. He most certainly loved that wrench more than his son and often said so. Victor had merely picked it up, merely grasped the handle and held it up to the light before placing it back down where had found it. Adam came home and immediately went to covet his “shiny treasure” he saw the finger prints and an anger arose him like no other.

In his drunken rage he beat Victor within an inch of his life, cracked several ribs, broke his nose, and caused him to piss blood for the next week. Afterward he realized how close he had just come to murder and he threw the wrench out and stopped beating Victor as much, but he did not grow fonder, just more cautious. Two years later he would die, presumably from despair, but the truth is a little bit darker.

Victor's mother was not much better of a role model for him while she was alive, she was never at home, presumably filling the bed of other men. In the early years of his life his mother was killed, they found her naked and bound in a ditch. Later on in life the neighborhood children would be kind enough to fill him on the details.

From this he grew a huge spite and resentment to people in general, he even hated himself. As he grew up he had no friends, his peculiar interest in books was found queer to the rest of the children and made him a target for bullying. His hatred grew and so did he, the taunts began to stop as he bulked up in muscle but old habits die hard and one day one of the usually bullies stepped a little too far over the line. They found him in a creek with his eyes gouged out, no connection were made.

The beginning of his paranoia started with that boy, when he killed the boy he had calmly washed off the blood and disposed of the body, but his eyes had haunted him and they wouldn't stay close, so he ripped them out. A habit he would never get rid of, he became obsess with the idea that everybody was watching him and he wanted to take their eyes from them.

His father died a little bit later, he hung himself from the rafters, suicide. The only problem was that he had his eyes gouged out, but people didn't want to expect the little boy, he wouldn't, couldn't. Afterward he disappeared from the settlement, but kids run away all the time.

He wandered for a little bit, drifting from settlement to settlement, sometimes strange murders would be left in his wake, but no connection was made. Besides, he was no longer James C. Smith, he was Victor Hel. By now he reached his full size and towered over most people causing most people to avoid him, so he grew up and continued to grow up in isolation. All it did for him was fuel his paranoia.

He entered the company of The Sun's at the age of nineteen, his size gave an edge in fighting and as a quick learner, he soon became very proficient. The fact that you could kill someone and if it was with your hands, it was rewarded was just amazing. He went back to reading books, this time it was about hand to hand combat. He combined this knowledge with his experience and quickly rose to the top in the arenas.

He was sought out by the leader himself, Victor agreed to be his right hand man and protect him from challengers, two days later he challenged the leader and crushed his windpipe and ripped out his eyes. This was met was some opposition as it always was and he fried the first challenger with a zap glove. He then preceded to kill the challengers to best friends, then his wife, then his children...He ripped out the eyes out of all of them. The he ripped out his own eye to show that this decision had pained him. No one ever challenged him after that.

The rest of his story remains to be written.

Yep, but one; I like to RP political figures, and two; it's easier for me because the character himself has direct control over the faction. Well, maybe not total direct control -- his power depends on the strength of Congress, amongst other things.

I write as what's called a 'third-person limited narrator', as a opposed to a 'third-person omniscient narrator'. This means I write from the perspective of one person, not the world in general. Due to this, it's difficult for me, personally, to write in the style Name proposed.

Also, I'd like you guys to post now what your faction army/military is like.

I know. Refer to my previous post for justification as to why I'd prefer to RP specifically as the head of state.

That said, I'm not sure I'd like to role play Kessler himself. Of course, his appearance and personality are largely at my discretion, but it's unlikely I'm going to have much room to maneuver with his backstory, considering he is technically your character.
See, I prefer my characters to be my own creation, and for the most part, I take great care in crafting them to achieve my desired effect. If the character, however, is somebody else's creation, I find it difficult to connect with them, and as a result my posts lack heart.

I'm not overly sure of the structure of the Louisana Republic's government, though can I assume it's akin to the USA's current presidential system? If so, RPing a renowned cabinet secretary or something of the sort is not out of the question.

Whatever the case, I'll do my best to compromise and work with what's been set out. If I decide to join, that is. Believe me, I do (otherwise why bother posting here?), but I'm skint on time and bearing in mind the effort I put into my posts, just one RP can be enough of a burden. Well, burden's the wrong word, but you get me. It's my own fault; I'm greedy and want to indulge in as much fun as possible, even if it is to the detriment of my grades.

My merc army is large like the other factions. Although usually hired to do other's dirty work, they can, if needed, go to war against a faction. But do know they aren't war-material, mostly just hunting down someone or sabotage material, ect.

In a democratic republic such an event would be highly unlikely. From then onwards, the figure leading the revolution would probably establish a dictatorship in some form.

Unless, I've read things wrong, the Louisana Republic is an well-maintaned, thriving superpower with the intention to expand. In a democratic state, this cannot be plausible without a strong economy and/or the support of the masses. I can assume the government, generally, has both, so the chance of someone even thinking of a full scale revolution is dubious.

So must we pick from the factions on the front page or can we submit our own, pending your approval, just that Yttrium created his own right? Not talking about anything more than a settlement here.

Maybe have Kessler commit a heinous crime and get him kicked from office, or maybe the reelection of leader is coming up soon and your guy gets elected to office.

But Name, don't you think it makes more since for the Rper to create their own leaders if were going to be controlling factions, it makes no sense to have already pre established leaders, that makes it less fun for the Rpers, don't' you think? WE want to shape our own characters not have a mold to go from.

Yeah, that's the most plausible possibility. Perhaps an impeachment? I'd prefer that over an election because what are the chances, realistically, of Kessler being voted out of office after everything he's done? The fact that he would be standing for election again is testament to his desire to carry on.

Of course, re-election is neither here nor there if the Republic follows the tradition of two terms max. Though that's not to say they're binded by old world customs.

Then there's the option of Kessler simply resigning after a long career. Whatever, I'll come to a decision.
