@Chriso, Impeachment would sound good.

The Faction

Vault 86 was designed to test the strength of free market ideals, particularly in the situation of a limited consumer base; many pre-war corporations continued (and later collapsed) after the Great War in Vault 86’s ‘skyscraqer inspired’ depths. On the 15th of November, 2188, the Vault opened and Midas Valley, colloquially known as ‘The Gulch’, was founded.

The city-state is led by a minimalist government, the ‘Cabal’, composed of the most wealthy individuals/corporations who form ‘The Board’ and are then ultimately led by the most wealthy individual/corporation who holds the title of ‘Chairman’. Due to the Vault itself, however, being the most valuable asset in the settlement and it being own, entirely, by the Vault-Tec corporation, which everything inside it simply being leased, Vault-Tec’s current head has always held the Chairman position and likely will for a long time.

The citizens themselves are healthy and well educated, the settlements small size preventing any major income disparity between classes; they have gained a reputation in the area for being unwilling to compromise, industrious and, at times, ruthless.

Technological advancement has often been fundamental to the society which stems from the constant need to create new produce for the Vault’s small consumer base, from here too comes the industrious nature (to control the scare luxuries and resources of the Vault). Merit too is valued above everything, prejudice is not present, nor is it tolerated.

Law enforcement in Midas Valley is the Cabal’s main, and often only, priority; theft of property is ranked alongside murder and is punished with execution by hanging. Pettier crimes are often punished with fines and/or loss of citizenship and expulsion. Typical gear for offices include Vault Security equipment with some scavenged US Army Combat Armour and rifles.

The Settlement

Midas Valley

Midas Valley is a small settlement built around the cave entrance which leads to Vault 86. The town itself is a small but advanced settlement with most of the http://images.wikia.com/fallout/images/7/7a/Fo2_Vault_City_Downtown.png and parts cannibalised from sold-off areas of the Vault. The Vault came with a “true” Garden of Eden Creation Kits which has been used to completely purify the land surrounding outside of the cave. Pristine trees line the central avenue of Midas Valley and fields of lush green grass, along with many farms and orchids, surround the town’s walls.

The walls themselves are high enough to ensure to they cannot be assailed (at least by a potential criminal) and are well lit during night time in addition to periodic automated plasma turrets; the two corners (as the wall is joined to a steep rock-face at one side) topped with guard posts who look out through the night.

Outside of the town’s walls however is a more impoverished area which houses non-citizens who work at Midas Valley; the walls are thinner, the quality of life lower, but conditions here are by no means diabolical.

Vault 86

Despite existing for over a century, Midas Valley does not house the majority of the population. Vault 86 was built to mimic pre-war skyscraqers and apartment, the Vault being far deeper than it is wide. The majority of the Vault is built around a multi-storey courtyard with two long ‘streets’ branching from it which branch into further streets (which themselves are simply wide and long corridors).

All of the town’s water is purified here and the majority of it’s food grown, in the event of an attack it will serve as the evacuation point, with the citizens simply re-entering before sealing the door.

The Character

Name: Howard G. Greenwood
Race: Caucasian
Faction: Cabal, Vault-Tec
Age: 47

Appearance: A man whom physically is no different from a common male, average stature and build with brown hair smoothed back and angular features.
Clothing: Vault-Tec Jumpsuit
Misc Items: Pre-war watch (those now with a strap fashioned of some post-war lizard).

Personality: Howard is typical of that of 86er, hard-working and self-driven; that aside he bears the responsibility of all of his people and their saftey which he takes very seriously. He also hides some information which was hidden in the Vault’s computer system.
Traits: Selfish (which is viewed as a positive trait by 86ers), self-confident and un-comprising. Outside of work he is similar to a pre-war citizen, he enjoys good drink, good company and good entertainment.
Bio: Born to a wealthy family, Howard has wrangled his way to the top job in the town by being the best there is. (Sorry if this seems rather brief but I really want to craft the character as I go along. Unlike my previous character, Alan Sutler, I haven’t had 3 years to craft him and so Howard seems, at present, insultingly open. I will work on this).

Hot stuff there, Adam.

Name, would you be so kind as to give me an idea as to what weapons the Louisana Republic would use? Honestly, I'm totally ignorant on the subject of firearms, unlike you who seems to be a master.
Really, I'd prefer to avoid AA-12s with heartbeart sensors or whatever.

Find some weapons that fit the faction. My idea for the faction would be something of the UK (Haha, before anyone corrects me). But its your faction

Accepted

The Sun's brief armament overview

I like to remind my faction is largely a war faction, in fact every man and woman is required to enlist in the army. Also once a child reaches ten the are put in a training academy were they'll become familiar with weapons, tactics, and hand to hand combat. They are also known for taking a heavy amount of drugs before battle so it may take twenty shots to bring one down, but they also become much more reckless. They usually try to utilize guerrilla warfare as you'll seen why

The main attacking force of The Suns have little armor, most of them naked from the waist showing off tattoos of accomplishments in battle. They are usually hyped up on pyscho and med-x causing them to be reckless and take risks they normally wouldn't. There armament ranges from:

-Hands
-Spears
-Swords(All Varieties.)
-Sledgehammers
-Powerfists
-Zap Gloves
-Knives
-Pipes
-Rifle( rare )

Basically anything they can find near by, some of them have rifles but these have been taken from the enemies and as such they don't have a large supply of ammo and generally are rare. Because of this armament

Leaders: A squad is usually four to six members with one of those members being the leader, they also have no armor but they do always have a firearm:

-Spas-12
-Colt Python

Commanders: These lead a platoon of men, usually four to six squads. They have armor and good equipment, the armor varies from leather to combat, the firearms are as follows:

-SG 550
-S&W Model 500

Special Units: The Suns have NO medics, the stimpack and the mind is your medic. There are certain members in each squad who may carry more than their basic melee objects, mostly for taking down vehicles, these include:

-Anti-Tank Mines
-Anti-Personal Mines
-Strela-3

Vehicles: The Suns do not have a large amount of vehicles, they ones they do are used for troop transports. They are simple normally vehciles that had thick metal plating welded on.

-Armored Vehicles( Jeeps, Trucks, Cars, etc)

Totally Weaponry:

-Any Melee Object
-Powerfist
-Zap Glove
-Hands
-Rifles
-Spas-12
-Colt Python
-SG 550
-S&W Model 500
-Strela-3
-Anti-Tank Mines
-Anti Personnel Mines

I know it seems like a lot, but if you read my descriptions then you would realized that it's pretty fair.

In my opinion, your faction seems like the type to use modern U.S. and British weaponary. I know little on Britian weapons, but common U.S. weapons are the m4 carbine, (an automatic rifle that closely resembles a m-16), a m-16( 3-round or fullly burst rifle), an m249( main u.S. machine gun, or an Fn FAL, a semi rifle thats very accurate.

You know what, I might just use these.

I understand this is a war RP, but to be honest, the weapons in which your army uses is insignificant because no matter what, you can't decide who wins battles on weaponry alone and outside combat, the specifics of weaponry has no effect.

I know what it is. The US doesn't use FN FAL's in the field.

The G36 is not what the British use (They use the SA80 as far as I know) The German Bundeswehr uses the G36. The ATGM is US, as is the .50. The Lee Enfield is British. The First Artillery is a German one. The tanks are German, the planes are German and Russian.

I will try my best to control the NMLA...they are a major faction and I am pretty busy these following weeks. We'll see.

Name: Arcadia
Race: Evolved Super Mutant
Faction:NMLA
Age(25-60): 46

Appearance(facial features, stature): Arcadia resembles other mutants; his facial complexion is bulky and vile. His eyes are small, and his mouth is set firm above his bony jaw. His body is old yet very powerful and strong. He features several scars around his midsection, and several on his back. He has no hunch, which sets him apart from other mutants. He stands tall and proud.
Clothing(No Armor unless Warlord): http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTeh_DEO7gONfR_qasM9U7LhYzBKzb4h2d8B-vPonktc2eoURtk, spikes on both sides, He rarely uses this armor because his time in battle is limited.
Misc Items(Heirlooms, watches): A super sledge called "The Bold"

Personality(At least two full sentences): Hard working, strict, and he doesn't play around. He can keep his composure if needed, and will punish harshly is needed also.
Traits(both good and bad): Arcadia is smart and strong, yet his reflexes are starting to fail him. He is not as fast or efficient in battle, thus meaning his time spent on the field is quite rare.
Bio(not eligible if less than one paragraph): Arcadia grew up a lone wanderer. His encounters with mutants left him fond of the race. He helped many of them and started an orginization to try and spread awareness that all super mutants are not bad. When the NMLA was small and new, Arcadia did something no human had done before. Willingly transform via injection into a super mutant. At the age of 26 the mutants graciously accepted his offer, and saw him as a hero to their kind. They saw him as someone who could accept them for what they did, not who they were.

Over time he started to mutate, but differently. His mind was always with him. While super mutants aged 45 had lost alot of their smarts, Arcadia was still as bright as he had ever been. When he was 40, he was annointed head of the NMLA. They saw him as an extremely smart man, who could help them provail and spread their power throughout the U.S.

(I can add plenty more Bio, if you want. i just need more time to think.

Oh yeah sorry FN FAL is Finnish I think. And yeah the g36 is german, which I know. Btw its built in with a red dot sight *) Oh and I think guerilla rebels use the fal. Anyways,

Crap.. Does my faction need AA guns too? An rpg wouldn't be able to hit a plane( a helicopter maybe) and the rpg is the only explosive weapon I have listed. I guess a Strela, a common insurgency rocket launcher, can also be added to the list...

And chrisno, your right. Tactics are what really wins a batlle, in my and commander's eyes anyways.

The reason I suggested those weapons is becasue your faction seems modern and they are a democracy. Both the Us and britian( A parliement yes but also a democracy) are democratic and have modern armies. The us anyways, not sure about the brits*P

Guys, Guys, lets remember, this isn't a all war RP.

The Lousiana Republic and the Mississippi Alliance have a USSR/US 45-91 relationship. Cold War.

And Your Mom, remember, you guys operate in Mississippi Alliance Territory, and you are Mercenaries.

Oh right name. it must be the the MG varients, well most of them, have built in or equiped red dot sights, telescopic sights on them.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Latvian_G36KV.JPG

Has a put on sight, but some have built in. Anyways, ok sa-7 I guess. Fits my faction's profile anyways...Unaccurate but deadly?
