So this little stray dog is following me...

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 4:54 pm

No idea why, just started following me a while back. He's intense, he can take a good few stomps from a giant (on master) and has fearlessly attacked dragons with me.

Anyone else found him?

theres one called 'stray dog' that will follow you around, usually if youve rescued it from wolves.

he is a stray dog, but will follow you and help you as a master if you don't send him away. lovely idea in fact, adds to making Skyrim a great game despite all the whiners and purists and what not

I ran across one today, we hung out for a bit and whooped some spiders, but alas I sent him home. Hard to be stealthy with a dog following.

He's pretty useful for me, got eola following as well. I usually conjure something, she does using sanguine rose. Then just head into battle.

Hardly, it's common knowledge that you can have dog followers in this game.

I didn't know there was a random encounter dog called Stray Dog that can work as a companion. So yeah, slight spoiler.

Ah, the stray dog. Just got him today. He ruined my stealth attempts, but he never hesitated to jump into the thick of a fight. We had a day or two of battles together and I was just starting to wish I could name him when he met a bandit chief's ax swing. I'm kind of hoping I come across another one now.

Is this another dog? Haven't seen it yet.

I would like to be able to have a wolf companion, possibly a bear to be honest, no reason why not. If there was a quest where you raised the cub.

I just found the little Stray Dog today, right after finding Barbas. Now I have two guard dogs that take out any hostile along the way. Kind of funny having the two dogs following me everywhere. If I can find one more I could relive Fallout 3 (bad pun).

We found each other, somewhere near Falkreath, but he was making so much noise I sent him away.

I had no idea he would fight for me....

There is one near Falkreath, and there is one near Whiterun. It appears to be a randomised encounter set. I find them also a bit yappy, I took the one near Falkreath to the Smith at Falkreath. he had stated he wanted a canine companion.

Things they need to include with dogs:
1. Each house should have a small room specifically for a dog
2. Muzzles/permanent silence spell

If you are talking about Meeko, he is with me since level 40 (now 70). Sometimes he returns to his shack (Meeko Shack) south of Solitude, where his previous master died. My house in Whiterun is full of food on the floor. He doesn't like water too much. Good friend.

For some odd reason I am curious to see a screen shot (if possible) of your food filled floor.

Not easy... But I have just arrived home and there are: Venison chop left near the Cupboard, Cooked Beef near the stairs, Venison stew behind the chair, Grilled Chicken briast further, and a Leg of Goat Roast near the second room. Sometimes I picked them up and change for new fresh ones. (I have 2 real dogs home. The Labrador (6 years) since she was 1 month and the other (4 years) found in the street when she was 6 months old and sick. But it's not like in Breeze Home
That's why I'm so happy to have a dog companion, though now that it's pretty hard (2 dragons), lots of Draugh Lords, I prefer to keep him in a safe place until it's cleared. (for me no problem. I'm so strong that I hardly heal myself) but I really care for my dog. When I go selling my stuff he sometimes enter from another door. Makes me laugh...
