This is madness! THIS IS FALLOOUUUT!

Hi everybody (first post here)

I made this model in my free time and I'm unemployed so I have a lot of free time hahahahh,
it was inspired by the games Fallout 1 and 2 but NOT Fallout 3 or the new one...
what's it called... aahhh who care's !

The model was made in 3d studio max only, additionally I downloaded free textures for it !
I'm not a professional modeler so the model is far from being perfect but I'm willing to contribute
it to you guy's as gift from a fan if your company policies allow it.
The skinning between the shoulder and the torso is poorly made but the armor restricts the movement anyways.
You could use it in an cutscene or whatever since it's not modeled for a game engine !
Additionally you could use it as a concept art if you can't accept models made outside your studio,
I could post more picture's if needed.

Model details:
Major modeling technique: splines
Objects: 951 (most of them grouped together)
Faces: 502184
Biped, skin modifier

Cool. Looks like a mix of combat armor and metal armor. Like, the exterior ballistic plates from the combat armor added to the metal armor frame. Image

Fantastic work, how long have you been modeling for? Do you do texturing as well or just the texture-less models?

If you're looking for work I'd look into freelancing, try the XNA forums, from what I remember there has always been a certain level of demand for 2D and 3D artists both paid and free. It's a great place to get your foot in the door for anyone who is looking to break into the industry IMO.

I'm learning 3d studio max for around 7-8 years !
Didn't do much texturing though , always download free ones !
Haven't thought about freelancing maybe I should give it a try lol

Amazing work there, I love it.

However, Im not too keen on the style of the character's armor... Its just not my style of armor, but despite that, its just amazing work, 9.5/10 (minus the 0.5 cuz the background is too dark, maybe brighten it up a bit in general?) I'd love to see more of your work
