Getting experience for each module upgrade

Some dude and I debated on how the experience was distributed after the game when you complete an upgrade challenge for a particular module.

His argument - What ever module you upgrade, the experience goes to the module that its under. Example: Getting 500/500 Retriever in a game will get you 5000 Exp for Power.

His proof- None

My argument - Whatever you are doing when you get the last kill to upgrade a module, the experience goes to the corresponding thing that you were doing.

My proof - I was five kills away from getting 500/500 Energy Transfer which is an Armor Module. I used nothing but Power in the next match and went 17-9. I never went into Armor mode or Stealth mode got my five kills and at the end of the game all my experience went to Power. I had 0 exp armor and 0 exp stealth.

Thoughts? Opinions?

I've never had "0" for exp in any catagory. Not sure how you pulled that one off. I believe you get armor for using armor mode, sealth for using stealth mode, and power for sprinting, power jumping, and sliding. No proof, just my opinion.

Don't use armor or stealth the entire game and tell me what you get.

Sorry, guess I've never felt the need to not use them during a match. not really feeling like trying so I'll just take your word for it. Thanks.
