I'm merely curious, so please don't bring your own feelings into this discussion, but does one console have an advantage over the other if you were to make cross-platform between Xbox and PS3? Obviously PC is better than both for multiple reasons, so don't discuss that, I just want some objective information on the two actual consoles.

As far as I know, the only difference would be the control schemes, and people will adapt to those in equal measure.

Personally would love a cross platform game, It saddens me that no game has breached the invisible wall that exists between consoles.

Gameplay and GFX wise id say no

I have a PS3 and i can say that XBL will always have a small advantage PSN, which it should since Xbox users pay a premium for it

So most the time the networks are just better with less hassle on XBL

I've been a player of both PC and Console so i know that either are good deppending on what it is your looking for. If you're after a machine that is just designed to play games then go console but if you want to do more than just that then of cause go PC. but really niether can be compared because both are good.

No, it's not a console war because I am locking it before it becomes one. These threads always go badly. And I think if you look around you may find one open comparing platforms/consoles. But regardless, I"m not planning to babysit one of these tonight.

Here is some good advice though. Play on what you prefer. We all have individual preferences and often it has to do with controls or visuals or what we are used to or where we sit or what we can afford or how many we have to share what with.

So play on what you want then come here to discuss the game. But we really don't like console/platform threads around here because there are always flames, console bashing and elitist comments all of which we have to give warning for.
