Is this a ping issue?

Post » Sun Oct 26, 2008 8:19 pm

Hi,

I cannot play more than five minutes on any server, this is after I reinstalled Crysis Wars with new card. Game is running smoothly but I don't understand why I get kicked out of server which running on close to my ping, I used to get kicked out but there were lots of other servers, but now I just cannot play on any server more than five minutes.

I am running XP with 1 gb ram 512 graphic card and around 512 adsl.

Regards

Perhaps Punkbuster, or anitivirus? You could try to crate an own game to se if you still get kicked.

Lmao.

Make sure your correct firewall ports are open. Also, make sure your punkbuster is updated to the latest version, and Crysis Wars patched to version 1.5.

You also might benefit from adding another GB of RAM to your computer. I can only imagine the video card bottleneck you are getting. =/

Also if you have any config/system mods, try removing them and see if it works.

Try to download this: http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=pbsetup.php

1. When open, first click check for updates.
2. Press ''Add Game'' and chose the game you want to update (in this case crysis wars)
3. When chosen, press check for updates again, and when its done press ''Quit''.
4. Test the game and pray to god it's working.

Try running in compatibility mode, and/or DX9, and see if that helps.
