As far as I know there won't be any traditional raids in ESO. Their substitute is adventure zones.

Wait all of a sudden a bunch of people are telling me otherwise...
Alright well I'm not gonna make myself look like a potential fool twice over,.,at least not without citations I won't =P does anybody have some articles or info from developers that point to either side?
Note however that it's mostly a bunch of "hardcoe" endgame raiders that I'll ve trying to convince, and from what I've seen most of them detest having mentions of PvP be made if it could sprinkle a little less on the PvP aspects of the game that'd be even better XD. A couple of them are casuals but from what I've seen the casuals aren't pre-ordering the game anyway, a lot of them are saying "I'll wait till it's F2P" which svcks because P2P games are the only fair system IMO =\
Or of course provide sources that show that the game is PvP centric so I don't say anything and not make myself look like a fool in front of the peope I usually group with and people that can berate me for however long social media is around XD
I would say it's both PvE and PvP centric. Sure there's a war going on but if you want to you can ignore it and do all PvE stuff, such as dungeons and adventure zones, 50+ content, crafting etc.

LOL! Comparing Elder Scrolls Online to single player Elder Scrolls games is dishonest? Sorry, what was I thinking?!
If you want to break quests down into mechanics they will always be fetch and kill, interact with something, go somewhere etc - that's what quests are! But it is the story that intertwines all of that, the acting, the locations, the lore etc that make it Elder Scrolls.
If you want to 'boil down' quests in that way then it sounds like that is a play style which is your choice. But for me, I like to immerse myself in a game and I found that I have been able to do this just as much in ESO as I have in any of the SP games.
the game revolves around pvp all the pve you do is towards one centric factor becoming emperor one day which is by PVP. yes there are adventure zones coming but they seem to be more of an afterthought just like most of the pve feels like a shell
basically what you have got here is DAOC 2 carefully wrapped in a thin blanket of Elder Scrolls so that it can be used as a selling point but once you strip off the outer layer it totally feels like DAOC
and yes comparing this game to any other elder scrolls game is sort of dishonest because this game is ONLY elder scrolls in the sense of the hmm I cant think of how to put it but basically like I said the shell of this game is Elder Scrolls but its only a shell sorry the actual word escapes me right now
Here is a decent article: http://elderscrollsonline.info/end-game-content .
Also, don't listen to "PoisinIvy" up there...if you read his signature, you'll be aware of why he posts that crapola.
the enemy storming around on the ground below does indeed move in a similar fashion to ants
that's my impression as well
but PvP is restricted to its zone Cyrodill only thank you Zenithar
You don't like it. Why are you here again?
If you're hating on ESO so much, why are you posting here?
You could make the same comparison between Morrowind and Skyrim. And? There's plenty of PvE content and the PVP content is brilliant, there are lots of PvE people who liked it and I'm sure it will be a big hit. The PvE content I've played so far is very nice and engaging, the areas feel big and cooperating with other players quite meaningful.
To the unconvinced - try the next beta, see for yourself. Also, even if you dislike pvp, get to level 10 and try Cyrodil. It is not the PvP as most people know, I had a complete blast and couldn't stop.
He can't stop even if he hates it.. he's hooked .)
yes I keep hearing how there is all this tons of PVE content but guess what we had a lot of PVE content in DAOC as well but it was still centered around becoming a pvper and that dude you are saying is hating on ESO its not that hes hating ESO its more that he is loving TES the guy is looking for the magic of the huge wide open world that is central in all TES games and thats what hes complaining about here
Woah woah woah, what?
200 people at a time is fine, that is in no way just for PvP. If the questing in this game is as awesome as the typical TES quest, then seeing hundreds of other people taking down badies sounds even more fun.
But...uh, what's that about shops? What? What is that at all? Like, housing or something? As in only PvP'ers get to have housing?!
shops are shops that the pvp guilds get to sell their wares I believe so if your a pve guild you dont get them
Actuallly somebody posted to "try it" on facebookm well a few people who were defending the game.
Much flaming went down on teh social media that day >_> I participated :c
It's just...don't say that please. I've heard some many people tell me that already >_< so can anybody who's already said this please not anymore? I just don't like PVP, never have, it's a personal thing. Not sure why others hate it but they all probably have their reasons and I'm not looking to change hearts, only want the facts cleared up o I can make an informed decision.
While it's against forum policy to call people out for trolling.. I really want to. I'll bite though.
You're calling it like you see it, and so am I. I like the game and you don't. This is called a difference in opinion, so stop with the bigotry already.
The real question is, why are you posting here if you dislike the game so much?
Edit; typo.
