LMFAO!!! Cry me a river little girl. Lol who cares if you aren't getting the next Elder Scrolls, its your loss. And your anology is quite stupid, because food is a subject that can be taken as good or bad. Lol and your use of fast food game made me want to post that on fail blog. This game is great, plenty of people can vouch for that, obviously you can't but no one really cares. Go back to playing the better TES if you don't like it. But one thing is for sure. You are incredibly stupid for saying that we as a community who likes this game, likes bad games. You made yourself look incredibly stupid considering the majority of the world disagrees with you. Lol but its cool, keep crying :) just know that no one cares you attention W***e

If you support freedom of expression, then you must also support the right for others to express their thoughts and ideas which you do not agree with. This includes their right to ridicule you.

:foodndrink: Touche, Mr SharkHat... but I believe that the ridicule part falls under the banner of "trolling" and that's an official forum offense.

Wait for the mods mate. It's funny how people forget that Oblivion wasn't any better when it first came out, it had tons of bugs and really didn't have better quests or more content.

True. Oblivion is UNPLAYABLE without mods. Skyrim seems likely to be easier to mod as they have quite a few interesting effects Oblivion never had.

Hold down to continue effect allows for:
1. Control/Dominate NPC like a puppet as long as you are concentrating. Makes more sense and better balance.
2. Spells which start off slowly but builds up damage the longer you maintain it. (As lightning storm should have been)
3. Spells that need long "incantations" but provides extremely powerful effects like instant kill, permanent dominate, baneful polymorph, flesh to stone and so on.
4. Legendary unique summons that are unkillable as long as you are maintaining the spell. Killing someone may even charge them up to be more power the next time.

Multiple permanment traps:
1. Rune Guardians, conjure skeletons to defend a location if triggered
2. Runes with other effects such as paralyze, frenzy, slow
3. Runes that blow people across the room into some other trap!

Using corpse as a resource:
1. Raisen zombies that raise other zombies if they kill the opponent, creating an undead army
2. Summon multiple spiderlings from corpse
3. Corpse explosion, high poison damage for lower cost compared to runes

Those above are all effects already built into the game that could be possible with a little tweaking of existing spells using the construction set.

You're right, OP. Skyrim might as well just be an Oblivion DLC, it's so bad >.>

Ok, I got it, Skyrim is more streamlined than Morrowind, so it shouldn't win a GOTY award because the other already streamlined games weren't sequels of Morrowind and deserve it more than Skyrim. Is that Right?

Ok keep living in the past thats cool, but dont bash on Skyrim when the majority likes Skyrim you basically got 8 pages of negative posts

So the majority of the fanbase will move on while your still on Daggerfall, Morrowind, and Oblivion.

 At first this stuff was funny, but by now it's just depressing and frustrating. How long do we have to wait after a big release before we stop seeing this elitist nonsense? I left for a few weeks, came back, and saw this. I feel like pulling my hair out.

OP: When you say that you don't like Skyrim, it's just annoying. When you insult people for liking it, the nicest word I can think of for you is "pathetic".

The OP used to have bad taste, and then he took TES:S to the cranium. Now he still has bad taste, but at least he hurts just a little.

If skyrim end up game of the years, its a sad day for gaming. Clearly Bethesda have chose to move for casual players. I feel like someone has gave me Big mac when i ask for sushi.
But sadly this is how video games industry seems to have turn. Place a lot of efforts on the outside (graphics) but less on the inside (gameplay, quest line, etc) My character is lvl 60, so no one here will say that im low lvl who done nothing. I have cleared all the guild quest, except thiefs, done some random explorations, completed all the Misc of everytown but one and went to 60% of the main quest. i spent more then 80hrs, just in case and gives Skyrim a real chance. But nothing, This game doesnt give me any pulse or fun. Neither in the quest, mission that are boring and repititive, neither in random exploration because dungeon and cave are: 1- too linear 2- too small 3- i dont really find anything that make me feel like i found something unique.

So if you guys at Bethesda have really chose to go in casual direction, it is over. After a week a guy on this forum mention that even if Skyrim is not the best, i will buy the next TES and i sadly sayd : yes i will because i like TES. Well i have change my mind. I wont, just like i did for other good series that went to awsome to casual.

To make it clear. Skyrim svck because:
- THE GAME IS EASY

-Repetitive quest line, dungeon

-The Lvl system who give the chance to get 100% for everyskill, kills the idea to try different type of character because i can max everything. the character i choose wont change anything.

-In the same idea. takin out the astrological signs and give the players the chance to switch any time he want with the Magical Stone make no difference in the character creation and uniqueness of my characters + make the games easier. I dont need to think what type of players i want to create cause i can change at ANYTIME!

-the illusion of choice. (Companion- werewolf and more stupid choice like that)

-i used to enjoy decoration in my house with artifact and item, even the town has decoration and they broke the system.........

-plenty of things that we dont care (horse, wood chopping, killing wolf inside that dude house 6 times)

-having 4 different quest in the same cave or dungeon...................

So if you guys are impressed by Skyrim, i feel sorry for you and no matter what crap pepeol will give you, it doesnt matter because you enjoy fast food games.

From a fans of TES ( Daggerfalls, Morrowind, Oblivion)

i hear what your saying for the most part, but that speach should have came out when Oblivion came out. Skyrim although repetitive isnt easy unless you compare it to Dark Souls or unless you are one of those guys that either is on youtube or has the stategy guide beside him at all times? I am curious though im over 220 hrs and im only level 50, and you said you have only put in 80 hrs but your a level 60? something doesnt add up. The botom line is the game is a great game and probably the best single player RPG of all time. I dont think you can get much better on current consoles

If you think Skyrim has gone "casual" its because your mind is to casual to understand how the game works.

"Oh my god, if you wanna use daggers, you just use daggers and pick dagger perks instead of having a magic little short blade skill box to put points into. ...So dumbed down! Sobs...)

"Whah! You can still do whatever you want, but they made it so not only hardcoe rpg nerds can figure out how to play it... snivel ...how am I supposed to feel special now?"

Get over it.

Don't even bother feeding the trolls, we see 10 of these "skyrim svcks because I say so, oh and I put 80 hours into it" threads every day!

Why do people feel the need to tell everyone when they are going to stop playing Skyrim? Who cares? IMO Skyrim is the best game in the series and I have played them all going back to Arena in 94 so nerrr !! Oh yeah simplifying the game makes it MUCH worse you are right :banghead:

Yeah I did the same, dissapeared for a couple of weeks because of threads like this, and I was having too much fun playing Skyrim and Witcher 2 on my G74 to bother! I love people who think just because THEY think something is true then it must be FACT! I think some people are just spoilt, if you don't like the game after 80 hours I think you need to find a girl or a hobby... seriously! Considering most FPS's cost 80 bucks and offer 10 hours of gameplay time I think 80 hours is a pretty good investment! Guess you can't please some people....

Wow. How do you put 80 hours into something you don't find enjoyable at all? (and aren't getting paid to do)

I think you might need to see someone for help.
