I read this in a youtube comment. Is it true?
"Theres a book in Skyrim where it says that the Arena Champion was assassinated by an elf that posed as an? adoring fan to get into his good graces."

I think it is true. But I don't think it's referring to the same Adoring Fan, but possibly. I found this on the Wiki:

In Elder Scrollss: Skyrim, a note can be found telling of a man who acted as a fan of an arena champion, then killed him.

It has the wrong timeline, skyrim is sat far after oblivion for it to be the same guy. Also the elder scrolls wiki is for the most part rather bad, I'd not cite is as a source.
